Applications examined in the journal include the internal organization of firms, corporate governance, the private provision of public goods, local public policies, relations across levels of government, public expenditure and regulation, and problems of credibility and enforcement of international agreements.Interdisciplinary contributions come from economists, organizational scholars, and political scientists. The study and management of ecosystems represents the most dynamic field of contemporary ecology. Ecosystem research bridges fundamental ecology, environmental ecology and environmental problem-solving. The scope of ecosystem science extends from bounded systems such as watersheds to spatially complex landscapes, to the Earth itself, and crosses temporal scales from seconds to millennia. Ecosystem science has strong links to other disciplines including landscape ecology, global ecology, biogeochemistry, aquatic ecology, soil science, hydrology, ecological economics and conservation biology. Studies of ecosystems employ diverse approaches, including theory and modeling, long-term investigations, comparative research and large experiments. The journal Ecosystems features a distinguished team of editors-in-chief and an outstanding international editorial board, and is recognized worldwide as a home for significant research, editorials, mini-reviews and special features.

Ecotoxicology is an international journal devoted to presenting fundamental research on the effects of toxic chemicals on populations, communities and terrestrial, freshwater and marine ecosystems. It elucidates mechanisms and processes whereby chemicals exert their effects on ecosystems, and examines the impact caused at the population or community level. The journal is not restricted with respect to taxon or biome, presenting papers that indicate possible new approaches to regulation and control of toxic chemicals and that formulate ways of conserving threatened species. The journal includes not only original research papers but technical notes and review articles, both invited and submitted. A strong, broadly based editorial board ensures as wide an international coverage as possible.

It is our determination to develop this journal into a key international voice in the growing and significant field of education and information technologies.

This journal is a platform for the range of debates and issues that are current in our field. It is a broad field: we aim to provide perspectives at all levels, from the micro of specific applications or instances of use in classrooms to macro concerns of national policies and major projects: from classes of five year olds to adults in tertiary institutions: from teachers and administrators, to researchers and designers: from institutions to open, distance and lifelong learning. The strength of this breadth lies in the opportunity to raise and debate fundamental issues at all levels, to discuss specific instances and cases, draw inference and probe theory. This journal is embedded in the research and practice of professionals. It will not proselytise on behalf of the technologies but rather provoke debate on all the complex relationships between information and communication technologies and education.

As editors we are determined to maintain and expand the international standing of Education and Information Technologies by careful selection on merit of the papers submitted to us. Our goal is that we should provide an ongoing forum for debate. Educational Psychology Review is an international forum for the publication of peer-reviewed integrative review articles, special thematic issues, reflections or comments on previous research or new research directions, interviews, and research-based advice for practitioners - all pertaining to the field of educational psychology. The contents provide breadth of coverage appropriate to a wide readership in educational psychology and sufficient depth to inform the most learned specialists in the discipline.

Educational Research for Policy and Practice, the official journal of the Asia-Pacific Educational Research Association, aims to improve education and educational research in Asia and the Pacific by promoting the dissemination of high quality research which addresses key issues in educational policy and practice. Therefore, priority will be given to research which has generated a substantive result of importance for educational policy and practice: to analyses of global forces, regional trends and national educational reforms: and to studies of key issues in teaching, learning and development - such as the challenges to be faced in learning to live together in what is the largest and most diverse region of the world. With a broad coverage of education in all sectors and levels of education, the Journal seeks to promote the contribution of educational research, both quantitative and qualitative, to system-wide reforms and policy making on the one hand, and to resolving specific problems facing teachers and learners at a particular level of education in the Asia-Pacific region on the other.

Education systems worldwide face many common problems as global forces reshape our institutions and lives, while at the same time, the research and problems facing education in Asia and the Pacific reflect its rich cultural and scholarly traditions as well as specific economic and social realities. Educators and researchers can learn from significant investigations, reform programmes, evaluations and case studies of innovations in countries and cultures other than their own. One purpose of this Journal is to make such investigations within the Asian-Pacific region more widely known.

Educational Studies in Mathematics presents new ideas and developments of major importance to practitioners working in the field of mathematical education. It reflects both the variety of research concerns within the field and the range of methods used to study them. Articles deal with didactical, methodological and pedagogical subjects, rather than with specific programs for teaching mathematics. The journal emphasizes high-level articles that go beyond local or national interest.

Educational Technology Research and Development is the only scholarly journal in the field focusing entirely on research and development in educational technology.

The Research Section assigns highest priority in reviewing manuscripts to rigorous original quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods studies on topics relating to applications of technology or instructional design in educational settings.  Such contexts include K-12, higher education, and adult learning (e.g., in corporate training settings).  Analytical papers that evaluate important research issues related to educational technology research and reviews of the literature on similar topics are also published. This section features well documented articles on the practical aspects of research as well as applied theory in educational practice and provides a comprehensive source of current research information in instructional technology.

The Development Section publishes research on planning, implementation, evaluation and management of a variety of instructional technologies and learning environments. Empirically-based formative evaluations and theoretically-based instructional design research papers are welcome, as are papers that report outcomes of innovative approaches in applying technology to instructional development. Papers for the Development section may involve a variety of research methods and should focus on one or more aspects of the instructional development process; when relevant and possible, papers should discuss the implications of instructional design decisions and provide evidence linking outcomes to those decisions.

The Cultural and Regional Perspectives Section (formerly International Review) welcomes innovative research about how technologies are being used to enhance learning, instruction, and performance specific to a culture or region. Educational technology studies submitted to this section should be, situated in cultural contexts that critically examine issues and ideologies prevalent in the culture or region or by individuals or groups in the culture or region. Theoretical perspectives can be broadly based and inclusive of research, such as critical race theory, cultural-historical activity theory, and cultural models. Papers published in this section include quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods articles and reviews drawing on relevant theories, empirical evidence, and critical analyses of the findings, implications, and conclusions within a cultural context.

Egyptian Journal of Forensic Science is the official journal of the Forensic Medicine Authority, Ministry of Justice, Egypt.

The Egyptian Journal of Medical Human Genetics publishes papers reporting original investigations in the field of human and medical genetics. The scope of the journal includes biochemical, cell biological, molecular genetic and structural biological studies of enzyme and other protein deficiencies, and fundamental investigations of the pathogenesis of inherited and acquired disorders. In addition to basic investigations, practical advances in the biochemical and molecular diagnoses of human diseases will be considered valuable contributions. The journal is published by the Egyptian Society of Human Genetics, Medical Genetics Center, Ain Shams University. It will consider reviews, review articles, original articles, case reports, announcements, editorials, editorial comments, correspondence, issue highlights, surveys and product reviews.
