Recent advances in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry and biophysics have led to a spectacular increase in the understanding of biological membranes at the molecular level. Molecular Membrane Biology provides a forum for membrane researchers from diverse disciplines who have a primary interest in the study of biomembranes at the molecular level. Molecular Membrane Biology publishes high quality original papers and reviews that serve to advance knowledge and research in all molecular aspects of membrane structure and function including:Receptors and signallingTransporters, pores and channelsSynthesis and structure of membrane proteinsTranslocation and targetingLipid organisation and asymmetryModel membranesMembrane fusion, endocytosis, exocytosis and recyclingCytoskeletal and extracellular interactionsCell adhesion and intercellular interactionsMolecular dynamics and molecular modelling of membranes Read More: http://informahealthcare.com/page/mbc/Description.
With the overriding aim of advancing technology and improving health care, Nano Reviews & Experiments now publishes both spontaneously submitted and commissioned Research Communications, Review Articles and Perspectives in all areas of nanoscience, nanotechnology, nanobiotechnology, and single-molecules - from basic science to applied aspects of chemistry, physics, biology, medicine, and engineering. These types of papers are all peer reviewed by experts in the field.
Aims & Scope: Rare Diseases is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes high-quality research addressing the underlying mechanisms of rare diseases. In the US, a disease or disorder is considered rare when it affects less than 200,000 people at any given time. In the EU, a disease or disorder is considered rare when it affects less than 1 in 2,000 people. Our goals are to publish original research articles and to raise awareness about rare diseases. Rare Diseases covers a range of topics including studies of disease-related proteins, analyses of rare disease mutations, gene expression analyses of rare disease genes, genotype-phenotype correlations, studies of animal models, and novel clinical findings.
