Journal of Traumatic Stress (JTS) is published for the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Journal of Traumatic Stress , the official publication for the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies, is an interdisciplinary forum for the publication of peer-reviewed original papers on biopsychosocial aspects of trauma. Papers focus on theoretical formulations, research, treatment, prevention education/training, and legal and policy concerns. Journal of Traumatic Stress serves as a primary reference for professionals who study and treat people exposed to highly stressful and traumatic events (directly or through their occupational roles), such as war, disaster, accident, violence or abuse (criminal or familial), hostage-taking, or life-threatening illness. The journal publishes original articles, brief reports, review papers, commentaries, and, from time to time, special issues devoted to a single topic.

Philosophy of the Social Sciences (POS), peer-reviewed and published quarterly, has served as the international, interdisciplinary forum for current research, theory, and debate on the philosophical foundations of the social sciences for 40 years. POS focuses on the central issues of the social sciences, including general methodology, the application of philosophy (especially individualism versus holism), the nature of rationality, and the history of theories and concepts.

The Journal of Early Childhood Research is a peer reviewed journal that provides an international forum childhood research, bridging cross-disciplinary areas and applying theory and research within the professional community. This reflects the world-wide growth in theoretical and empirical research on learning and development in early childhood and the impact of this on provision. The journal has particular relevance to policymakers and practitioners working in fields related to early childhood.

Time & Society is an international peer reviewed journal that publishes articles, reviews, and scholarly comment discussing the workings of time and temporality across a range of disciplines, including anthropology, geography, history, psychology, and sociology. Work focuses on methodological and theoretical problems, including the use of time in organizational contexts. You'll also find critiques of and proposals for time-related changes in the formation of public, social, economic, and organizational policies.

The Journal of International Trade and Economic Development (JITED) is a peer-reviewed journal, focuses on international economics, economic development and, more importantly, the interface between trade and development. The links between trade and development economics are critical at a time when both fluctuating commodity prices and trade liberalisation and agreements can radically affect the economies of developing countries. JITED is designed to meet the needs of international and development economists, economic historians, applied economists and policy makers. The international experts who make up the journal's Editorial Board encourage contributions from economists world-wide. International Migration is a refereed, policy oriented journal on migration issues as analysed by demographers, economists, sociologists, political scientists and other social scientists from all parts of the world. It covers the entire field of policy relevance in international migration, giving attention not only to a breadth of topics reflective of policy concerns, but also attention to coverage of all regions of the world and to comparative policy. The journal is published for the International Organization for Migration which was established in 1951. Language Learning and Development (LL&D) serves as a vehicle for interaction among the broad community of scholars and practitioners who investigate language learning, including language learning in infancy, childhood, and across the lifespan; language in both typical and atypical populations and in both native- and second-language learning. LL&D welcomes scholars who pursue diverse approaches to understanding all aspects of language acquisition, including biological, social, and cross-cultural influences, and who employ experimental, observational, ethnographic, comparative, neuroscientific, and formal methods of investigation.The journal is multidisciplinary and seeks to examine language development in all of its many guises. International Critical Thought aims to cultivate, encourage and facilitate the development and dissemination of thinking and scholarship responding to the profound social, political, cultural and economic changes taking place in the world today. It aims:

1. To provide a multi-disciplinary forum for reflection on and insight to the major problems facing humanity (energy, environment, poverty, war, etc.), where living and breathing contemporary experiences can be processed into works of theoretical depth and scholarly rigor.
2. To build a global forum for dialogue among various social currents, as an attempt to better integrate different perspectives and reconcile different needs and interests.
3. To emphasize the position of developing countries and bring attention to the practical, theoretical and methodological efforts made within non-Western contexts, in view of the fact that the future of human development requires cultural diversity to counterbalance the linear evolutionism characteristic of most modern Western theories.
4. To highlight the case of China, which, with its stunning economic development and social transformation, has challenged old wisdom of development while leaving profound questions to be answered with respect to its own future as well as its role in a world of economic, ecological, and to a great extent, political crises.

Distinguished by its international recognition since 1958, Human Development publishes theoretical contributions and integrative reviews of lines of research in psychological development within conceptual, historical, and methodological frameworks. Contributions serve to raise theoretical issues, flesh out interesting and potentially powerful ideas, and differentiate key constructs. Contributions come primarily from developmental psychology but are welcome from other relevant disciplines.

Drug and Alcohol Review is an international meeting ground for the views, expertise and experience of all those involved in studying alcohol, tobacco and drug problems. Contributors to the Journal examine and report on alcohol and drug use from a wide range of clinical, biomedical, epidemiological, psychological and sociological perspectives. Drug and Alcohol Review particularly encourages the submission of papers which have a harm reduction perspective. However, all philosophies will find a place in the Journal: the principal criterion for publication of papers is their quality.

Education, Citizenship and Social Justice provides a strategic forum for international and multi-disciplinary dialogue for all academic educators and educational policy-makers concerned with the meanings and form of citizenship and social justice as these are realised throughout the time spent in educational institutions.
