Applied Mobilities publishes theoretically informed, applied research and practice-orientated perspectives in mobilities. It focuses on the planning, design, technologies and social and cultural applications of mobilities. Through an emphasis on social theory and planning practice it also seeks to develop a greater understanding of the transition of mobility systems towards sustainable practices and the consequences of diverse mobilities on societies. 

It publishes original research articles, practice based commentaries and reviews.

Articles
Applied Mobilities publishes articles of international scope that meets one or more of the following areas of publication:
- Interdisciplinary research in planning, design, technology and culture relating to mobilities.
- Theory driven applied research emphasizing the social, cultural, economic and environmental aspects of mobilities.
- Development of the interdisciplinarity of mobilities research by bridging social science, art and practice.  

Commentaries
This section of Applied Mobilities invites practitioners and/or scholars to develop to introduce and reflect upon new themes and debates that are relevant to mobilities thinking, research and practice. Such innovative perspectives aim to increase the impact of research on the re-thinking of mobilities and help to develop political and societal strategies to understand the social, ecological and economic consequences of diverse mobilities on societies.

Case studies or interviews which reflect on the impact that mobilities research has had on practice, planning or policy.

Interventions
Case studies or interviews which reflect upon current practical intervention(s) in mobilities.

Case studies or interviews which imagine future alternative scenarios based upon research and/or practice in mobilities.

Reviews
Applied Mobilities publishes thematic book reviews on key topics in the field.  The selection of books for review is intended to reflect their potential impact on further research within the overall scope of the journal.

Expanded Routledge Psychoanalysis Coverage in PEP Launched in 1991, Psychoanalytic Dialogues was founded on the premise that within the diverse world of psychoanalysis there had developed a set of overlapping perspectives that regarded relational configurations of self and others, real and fantasied, as the primary units of human motivation and psychodynamic explanation. These perspectives emerged within interpersonal psychoanalysis; British objct relations theories; self psychology; the empirical traditions of infancy research and child development; and certain currents of contemporary Freudian thought. This common relational model has come to provide a vitalizing framework within which clinical contributions can be situated and developed. Psychoanalytic Dialogues is dedicated to facilitating debate among theoreticians and clinicians working within this array of relational perspectives. Developmental Psychology® publishes articles that advance knowledge and theory about development across the life span. The journal includes significant empirical contributions as well as scholarly reviews and theoretical or methodological articles. Studies of any aspect of psychological development are appropriate, as are studies of the biological, social, and cultural factors that affect development. The journal welcomes not only laboratory-based experimental studies but studies employing other rigorous methodologies, such as ethnographies, field research, and secondary analyses of large data sets. We especially seek submissions in new areas of inquiry and submissions that will address contradictory findings or controversies in the field as well as the generalizability of extant findings in new populations. Although most articles in this journal address human development, studies of other species are appropriate if they have important implications for human development. Submissions can consist of single manuscripts, proposed sections, or short reports.

Applied Cognitive Psychology seeks to publish the best papers dealing with psychological analyses of memory, learning, thinking, problem solving, language, and consciousness as they occur in real world contexts. Applied Cognitive Psychology focuses on studies of human performance and basic cognitive skills in everyday environments. Particular emphases include studies of autobiographical memory, lifespan memory development, detecting truth and deception, eyewitness memory and memory reliability, as well as cognitive perspectives on consumer behaviour, health and education. Articles will normally combine rigorous investigations of real world events with appropriate theoretical analyses and proper appraisal of practical implications. While empirical research remains the primary focus of the journal, Applied Cognitive Psychology also publishes theoretical articles and reviews. The subject matter of the International Journal of Law, Policy and the Family comprises the following: analyses of the law relating to the family which carry an interest beyond the jurisdiction dealt with, or which are of a comparative nature; theoretical analyses of family law; sociological literature concerning the family and legal policy; social policy literature of special interest to law and the family; and literature in related disciplines (medicine, psychology, demography) of special relevance to family law and research findings in the above areas.

International Political Sociology, (IPS), responds to the need for more productive collaboration among political sociologists, international relations specialists and sociopolitical theorists. It is especially concerned with challenges arising from contemporary transformations of social, political, and global orders given the statist forms of traditional sociologies and the marginalization of social processes in many approaches to international relations. IPS is committed to theoretical innovation, new modes of empirical research and the geographical and cultural diversification of research beyond the usual circuits of European and North-American scholarship. In order to help broaden the community engaging in international studies, the journal will facilitate the submission of articles in languages other than English.
