The Journal of Modern Jewish Studies is international and interdisciplinary, covering history, social studies, religion, thought, literature and the arts. It encourages work from younger scholars at the start of their academic careers, as well as welcoming contributions from established and senior scholars. Each issue of the journal comprises research papers and reviews and review essays of scholarship in Jewish Studies. From time to time, an edition of the journal will focus on a particular topic. Each paper submitted to the Journal of Modern Jewish Studies is peer-reviewed. Individual articles have covered a wide range of topics including early eighteenth-century Jewish-Christian polemics, Jewish-Christian neighbourly relations in 19th-century Russia, a Philo-Judaean Society in 19th-century Britain, Mark Rothko and the Holocaust, The 8220;New Age8221; of Kabbalah in the United States, Israeli secularism, Spanish Jewish literature, and an ongoing series on Moroccan Jewry.Special issues and special sections have focused on Holocaust Post-Memory, Nation and Transnationalism, Jewish Dictionaries and Encyclopedias, German-Jewish Material Culture. The objective of the American Journal of Primatology is to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and findings among primatologists and to convey our increasing understanding of this order of animals to specialists and interested readers alike. Primatology is an unusual science in that its practitioners work in a wide variety of departments and institutions, live in countries throughout the world, and carry out a vast range of research procedures. Whether we are anthropologists, psychologists, biologists, or medical researchers, whether we live in Japan, Kenya, Brazil, or the United States, whether we conduct naturalistic observations in the field or experiments in the lab, we are united in our goal of better understanding primates. Our studies of nonhuman primates are of interest to scientists in many other disciplines ranging from entomology to sociology. The American Journal of Primatology welcomes for consideration manuscripts from all areas of primatology. This includes but is not limited to the behavioral ecology, conservation, evolutionary biology, life history, demography, paleontology, physiology, endocrinology, genetics, molecular genetics, and psychobiology of the nonhuman primates. As well as publishing in established areas, we seek submissions on new and developing types of primate studies. The journal publishes original research articles, reviews and commentaries. Proposals for special issues on a particular theme are also welcomed, and may be guest edited. The American Journal of Primatology is the official journal of the American Society of Primatologists. The journal is published monthly in three quarterly volumes. In addition, a supplemental issue presents the scientific program of the annual meetings of the American Society of Primatologists.

In one forum, Journal of Loss and Trauma brings together scholarship on personal losses relating to family, health, and aging issues. The journal addresses issues dealing with psychological and physical health and interpersonal losses relative to extended family, community life, and society as a whole. In order to broaden the reader's perspective on loss and bereavement, the journal defines loss as a major reduction in a person's resources, whether personal, material, or symbolic, to which the person was emotionally attached. Under new editorship from 2008, Journal of Neurogenetics continues to publish papers involving the genetics of behavior, neural function or development, interpreted in the broadest sense. The Journal may be particularly appropriate for papers on behavioral, biochemical, or cellular aspects of neural function, plasticity, aging or disease. In addition to analyses in the traditional genetic-model organisms, C. elegans, Drosophila, mouse and the zebrafish, the Journal encourages submission of neurogenetic investigations performed in organisms not easily amenable to experimental genetics. The Journal of Systems Architecture: Embedded Software Design (JSA) is a journal covering all design and architectural aspects related to embedded systems and software. It ranges from the microarchitecture level via the system software level up to the application-specific architecture level. Aspects such as real-time systems, operating systems, FPGA programming, programming languages, communications (limited to analysis and the software stack), mobile systems, parallel and distributed architectures as well as additional subjects in the computer and system architecture area will fall within the scope of this journal. Technology will not be a main focus, but its use and relevance to particular designs will be.
