Congress & the Presidency is an interdisciplinary journal of political science and history that features articles on Congress, the President, the interaction between the two institutions, and national policy-making. Created by the United States Capitol Historical Society, the journal has been published by the Center for Congressional and Presidential Studies for over 25 years. The journal is a leading forum for important research on these two branches of government. Congress & the Presidency features peer-reviewed research articles from all methodological perspectives and is noted for its openness to both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The journal encourages research examining both contemporary and historical aspects of the legislative and executive branches of national government. Congress & the Presidency features reviews of important recent books in the field of congressional and presidential studies; these reviews are often authored by prominent scholars from the discipline. The journal periodically produces special issues that provide analysis of fundamental and timely issues on congressional and presidential topics.

Aims and Scope: International Journal of Nursing Sciences (IJNSS, ISSN: 2352-0132) is the official peer-reviewed research journal of Chinese Nursing Association. This journal aims to promote excellence in nursing and health care through the dissemination of the latest, evidence-based, peer-reviewed clinical information and original research, providing an international platform for exchanging knowledge, research findings and nursing practice experience. The Journal of Food and Drug Analysis (JFDA) is the official peer-reviewed publication of the Food and Drug Administration, Taiwan (TFDA). The Journal of Interprofessional Care aims to disseminate research and new developments in the field of interprofessional education and practice. We welcome contributions containing an explicit interprofessional focus, and involving a range of settings, professions, and fields. Areas of practice covered include primary, community and hospital care, health education and public health, and beyond health and social care into fields such as criminal justice and primary/elementary education. Papers introducing additional interprofessional views, for example, from a community development or environmental design perspective, are welcome. The Journal is disseminated internationally and encourages submissions from around the world. The Journal of Interprofessional Care publishes the following types of articles:Peer-reviewed original research articles, systematic/analytical reviews and theoretical papers that focus on an element of interprofessional education or practice. Peer-reviewed short reports that describe research in progress or completed, or an innovation in the field of interprofessional care. In addition, each issue of the Journal contains editorials (usually invited, but unsolicited editorials will be considered) and book reviews.

Stimulated by the advent of modern computers the developments in the field of numerical mathematics have been numerous in the past decades. However, the developments in the East and West went in different directions. Since its inception in 1993, the (East-West) Journal of Numerical Mathematics has promoted the exchange of ideas and results in numerical mathematics between scientists in Eastern Europe and Western countries and familiarized the world scientific community with the activities of researchers in Russia and other Eastern European countries.Due to political changes in the last decade, the exchange of research results has become easier and as a result, research results from Eastern European countries no longer form the emphasis of this journal. The Journal of Numerical Mathematics continues to contain high-quality papers on various topics in numerical mathematics as well as papers with significant mathematical content in the field of computational fluid dynamics and other areas of computational science from the international research community. Additionally, the journal will publish selected and refereed papers from workshops and conferences.

Turkish Journal of Biochemistry (TJB), official journal of Turkish Biochemical Society, is issued electronically every 3 months. Research articles, reviews, short communications, technical reports, case presentations, opinions, and letters to the editor, that have not published elsewhere, on biochemistry, clinical biochemistry, molecular biology, molecular genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, bioengineering, and their educational disciplines are published in the journal.The main aim of the journal is to support the research and publishing culture by ensuring that every published manuscript has an added value and thus providing international acceptance of the “readability” of the manuscripts published in the journal.Compliance to the ethical principles on research and publishing are essential for the publication of manuscripts. The aim of International Journal of Visualization in Engineering, a fully open access journal published under the brand SpringerOpen, is to disseminate original and high quality research results on the visualization paradigms, models, technologies, and applications that have significant contributions to the advancement of all aspects of design and engineering. The proposed journal is devoted to scholarly research on improving all aspects of design and engineering (including civil, mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, etc.) through the applications of visualization technologies. The journal is particularly interested in research that adds to the scientific understanding of the impacts that visualization technologies can have on the stages along the entire life cycle of a particular industry, for example, planning, design, construction, maintenance, and operations of constructed facilities.

Sociologia Internationalis has given itself a new title for its 50th anniversary: »European Journal for Cultural Research«. It publishes articles in German, English, French and Spanish. This concept is based on the approach that sociology is a discipline characterized by social traditions, including national traditions and conditions. Not least, its wealth of theories, insights, instruments and perspectives is due to the conceptual work in the various languages. Internationality in science should maintain and communicate this diversity but not melt it down into one language and tradition of thought. The European Respiratory Journal is the flagship journal of the European Respiratory Society. The ERJ publishes clinical and experimental work relating to all aspects of adult and paediatric respiratory medicine, including cell biology, epidemiology, immunology, oncology, pathophysiology, imaging, occupational medicine, intensive care, sleep medicine and thoracic surgery.
