Nordic Journal of Music Therapy NJMT is published in collaboration with GAMUT - The Grieg Academy Music Therapy Research Centre (Uni Health and University of Bergen), with financial support from Nordic Board for Periodicals in the Humanities and Social Sciences and in co-operation with university programs and organizations of music therapy in the Nordic and Baltic countries.The Nordic Journal of Music Therapy serves the international community of music therapy by being an avenue for publication of scholarly articles, texts on practice, theory and research, dialogues and discussions, reviews and critique. Publication of the journal is based on the collaboration between the music therapy communities in the five Nordic countries of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden and the three Baltic Countries of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. This international but still regional foundation offers a platform for development of communication with the broader international community of music therapy. Scholars from all over the world are welcomed to write in the journal. Any kind of scholarly articles related to the field of music therapy are welcomed. All articles are reviewed by two referees and by the editors, to ensure the quality of the journal. Since the field of music therapy is still young, we work hard to make the review process a constructive learning experience for the author. The Nordic Journal of Music Therapy does not step aside from active engagement in the development of the discipline, in order to stimulate multicultural, meta-theoretical and philosophical discussions, and new and diverse forms of inquiry. The journal also stimulates reflections on music as the medium that defines the discipline. Perspectives inspired by musicology and ethnomusicology are therefore welcomed. In addition to scholarly articles we will look for other ways of facilitating the music therapy discourse, and we put effort into presenting interviews and dialogues that can stimulate this, as well as reviews of important books in the field. Established in 1930, the Nordic Journal of International Law has remained the principal forum in the Nordic countries for the scholarly exchange on legal development in the international and European domains. Combining broad thematic coverage with rigorous quality demands, it aims to present current practice and its theoretical reflection within the different branches of international law.

The Scandinavian Research Council for Criminology, together with the Danish, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish national crime prevention councils, is publishing this forum of Nordic scientific work on criminology and crime prevention. The Journal provides opportunities to publish in a peer-reviewed context much of such scientific work that would not be easily available in standard international sources as it is actively searching for and encouraging Nordic authors to report in English, convinced that there is much scientifically and practically interesting and relevant work that deserves to be published to the benefit of audiences unable to follow work available only in the Nordic languages.Over the past two decades, crime prevention has developed into one of the central topics in modern scientific criminology. Hence the journal aims to combine criminological and crime prevention orientated scientific works.Features include: crime trends violence research prison studies knowledge-based crime policy orientation gender issues economic crime.

The goal of the journal is to establish a scientific dialogue between scholars from Scandinavian and Nordic countries working on Francophone studies. The journal also invites outstanding contributions from international scholars to promote the idea of literary reception in Nordic countries, which means the focus on Francophone Literature and World-Literature from a Nordic perspective. The journal welcomes both literary and cultural contributions to understanding the diversity of the Francophone world. 

This journal is published with Open Access to provide quality checked research to the French-speaking world free of charge.

L´objectif de cette revue est d´établir un dialogue scientifique entre les chercheurs des pays scandinaves et nordiques travaillant sur les études francophones. La revue accueille également des contributions internationales portant sur la réception littéraire dans les pays nordiques en insistant notamment sur la relation entre littérature francophone et World-Literature d´un point de vue nordique. En réalité, la revue abrite des contributions littéraires et culturelles sur la diversité du monde francophone.

Karib: Nordic Journal for Caribbean Studies is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to all aspects of research on Caribbean culture. The journal’s scope is cross-disciplinary, covering a wide range of topics within the humanities and social sciences, notably literature and literary theory, history, anthropology, art, aesthetics, performance studies, cultural studies, and history of ideas. Karib aims at promoting Caribbean Studies in the Nordic region but has an international reach and welcomes scholars from all over the world to submit articles in English, Spanish or French.
