The journal is owned by a non-profit organization, the Ferrata Storti Foundation, and serves the scientific community strictly following the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE, www.icmje.org) recommendations on publication ethics policies for medical journals.Haematologica was founded in 1920 by Adolfo Ferrata, and in 2005 merged with The Hematology Journal. The Hague Journal on the Rule of Law (HJRL) is a multidisciplinary journal that aims to deepen and broaden our knowledge and understanding about the rule of law. Its two main areas of interest are: 1) theoretical issues related to the conceptualization and implementation of the rule of law in domestic and international contexts; 2) the relation between the rule of law and economic development, democratization and human rights protection. The HJRL welcomes contributions from academics and practitioners with expertise in any relevant field, including law, anthropology, economics, philosophy, political science and sociology.
