Medicine in the post-genomic era. Genome Medicine is an online peer-reviewed journal which publishes open access research articles of outstanding quality in all areas of medicine studied from a genomic or post-genomic perspective. The journal has a special focus on the latest technologies and findings that have an impact on the understanding and management of human health and disease.

Launched in 1995, Genome Research is an international, continuously published, peer-reviewed journal that focuses on research that provides novel insights into the genome biology of all organisms, including advances in genomic medicine.Among the topics considered by the journal are genome structure and function, comparative genomics, molecular evolution, genome-scale quantitative and population genetics, proteomics, epigenomics, and systems biology. The journal also features exciting gene discoveries and reports of cutting-edge computational biology and high-throughput methodologies.New data in these areas are published as research papers, or methods and resource reports that provide novel information on technologies or tools that will be of interest to a broad readership. The journal also provides Reviews, Perspectives, and Insight/Outlook articles, which present commentary on the latest advances published both here and elsewhere, placing such progress in its broader biological context.

Genomics is a forum for describing the development of genome-scale technologies and their application to all areas of biological investigation.As a journal that has evolved with the field that carries its name, Genomics focuses on the development and application of cutting-edge methods, addressing fundamental questions with potential interest to a wide audience. Our aim is to publish the highest quality research and to provide authors with rapid, fair and accurate review and publication of manuscripts falling within our scope. All submissions to Genomics are subject to rigorous peer review and our goal is to accept only the top 25-30% of submitted manuscripts. GENUS - Journal of Population Sciences - is an open access peer-reviewed journal published by Springer on behalf of the Sapienza University of Rome. Founded in 1934 by Corrado Gini, GENUS has adopted an interdisciplinary approach to population studies. It has an interdisciplinary focus by publishing articles of “pure” demography and articles aiming to further a better knowledge of the interrelationship between demography and biological, social and economic phenomena, connected with the evolution of the population. These have spanned not only pure demography but also anthropology and anthropometric, sociology and psychology, biology and genetics. In keeping with the times -and particularly from 1965 under Nora Federici, and from 1993 under Antonio Golini as directors – an increasing number of articles have been published on general population theories, population dynamics and mathematical demography. GENUS has always tried to promote open dialogue across cultural, ideological and at times theoretical walls in the attempt to understand the complexities underlying population issues.

Geo-Bio Interfaces is an official journal of the Mineralogical Society. It aims to answer fundamental and emerging questions in geoscience and bioscience, by exploring contemporary scientific disciplines and the interconnection between them.
The journal covers four primary spheres of academic interest that intersect with the geo- and biosciences: biological (including but not limited to microbial systems), environmental, geochemical (organic and inorganic), and energy and resources. Original submissions describing fundamental, theoretical, experimental, or applied interdisciplinary studies pertaining to any spatial or temporal scale are considered for publication.
