Journal Guide

The International Journal of Clinical Oncology (IJCO) welcomes original research papers on all aspects of clinical oncology that report the results of novel and timely investigations. Reports on clinical trials are encouraged. Experimental studies will also be accepted if they have obvious relevance to clinical oncology. Membership in the Japan Society of Clinical Oncology is not a prerequisite for submission to the journal. Papers are received on the understanding that: their contents have not been published in whole or in part elsewhere; that they are subject to peer review by at least two referees and the Editors, and to editorial revision of the language and contents; and that the Editors are responsible for their acceptance, rejection, and order of publication.

The online-version will be updated every month before the print-version of the Clinical Nephrology will be published. Upon request we will send the password and user name by e-mail. The online-service is only available for subscribers of the print-version, if proof of purchase is submitted. The use of the online-version will be charged with an extra fee (additional to the subscription of the print-version). The service can be used until December 31st of the year of subscription.

IJCP is a general medical journal. IJCP gives special priority to work that has international appeal. [Always peer reviewed] Systematic reviews. From October 2009, special priority will be given to systematic reviews. [Always peer reviewed] Non-systematic/narrative reviews. From October 2009, reviews that are not systematic will be considered only if they include a discrete Methods section that must explicitly describe the authors' approach. [Always peer reviewed] Letters. [Peer reviewed at the editor's discretion] International scopeIJCP publishes work from investigators globally. Around 30% of IJCP articles list an author from the UK. Around 30% of IJCP articles list an author from the USA or Canada. Around 45% of IJCP articles list an author from a European country that is not the UK. Around 15% of articles published in IJCP list an author from a country in the Asia-Pacific region.

The International Journal of Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis publishes only original research and clinical papers dealing with hypnosis and psychology, psychiatry, the medical and mental specialities, and allied areas of science. Submissions include clinical and experimental studies, discussions of theory, significant historical and cultural material, and questions for inclusion in the Clinical Forum. It is the purpose of this Journal to present in an integrated manner the best research in scientific hypnosis and to encourage and support continued inquiry.
