Atmospheric Pollution Research

eISSN: 1309-1042

Atmospheric Pollution Research (APR) is an international journal designed for the publication of articles on air pollution. Papers should present novel experimental results, theory and modeling of air pollution on local, regional, or global scales. Areas covered are research on inorganic, organic, and persistent organic air pollutants, air quality monitoring, air quality management, atmospheric dispersion and transport, air-surface (soil, water, and vegetation) exchange of pollutants, dry and wet deposition, indoor air quality, exposure assessment, health effects, satellite measurements, natural emissions, atmospheric chemistry, greenhouse gases, and effects on climate change.

Atmospheric Pollution Research publishes:

  • Research Papers, Technical Notes, and Short Communications
  • Critical Literature Reviews, mainly on new emerging areas of atmospheric science
  • Special issues on relevant topics

Atmospheric Research

ISSN: 0169-8095

The journal publishes scientific papers (research papers, review articles, letters and notes) dealing with the part of the atmosphere where meteorological events occur. Attention is given to all processes extending from the earth surface to the tropopause, but special emphasis continues to be devoted to the physics of clouds and precipitation, i.e. atmospheric aerosols; microphysical processes; cloud dynamics and thermodynamics; numerical simulation of cloud processes; clouds and radiation; meso- and macrostructure of clouds and cloud systems, and weather modification.Benefits to authorsWe also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, special discounts on Elsevier publications and much more. Atmospheric Science Letters

eISSN: 1530-261X
DOAJ Logo

Atmospheric Science Letters (ASL) is a wholly electronic journal. Its aim is to provide a fully peer reviewed publication route for new shorter contributions in the field of atmospheric and closely related sciences. Through its ability to publish shorter contributions more rapidly than conventional journals, ASL offers a framework that promotes new understanding and creates scientific debate - providing a platform for discussing scientific issues and techniques. We encourage the presentation of multi-disciplinary work and contributions that utilise ideas and techniques from parallel areas. We particularly welcome contributions that maximise the visualisation capabilities offered by a purely on-line journal. ASL welcomes papers in the fields of: Dynamical meteorology Ocean-atmosphere systems Climate change, variability and impacts New or improved observations from instrumentation Hydrometeorology Numerical weather prediction Data assimilation Physical processes of the atmosphere Land surface-atmosphere systemsAlthough the main part of the journal is its fully peer-reviewed research articles, ASL also has sections related to articles of general interest, scientific meetings reports, book reviews, news and events. Submissions in all of these areas are welcomed by the Editorial team.

Atomization and Sprays

ISSN: 1044-5110eISSN: 1936-2684

The application and utilization of sprays is not new, and in modern society, it is extensive enough that almost every industry and household uses some form of sprays. What is new is an increasing scientific interest in atomization - the need to understand the physical structure of liquids under conditions of higher shear rates and interaction with gaseous flow. This need is being met with the publication of Atomization and Sprays, an authoritative, international journal presenting high quality research, applications, and review papers.

Atoms for Peace: an International Journal

ISSN: 1741-640XeISSN: 1741-6418

Atoms for Peace stems from the realisation that the world faces unprecedented challenges to supply clean, sustainable water, electricity and, soon, hydrogen to support economic and population growth that will test available resources. AFP uses this as an opportunity to highlight the peaceful uses of the atom over the past 50 years and the potential role of the atom over the next 50, such as providing radioactive sources for radiotherapy and ionizing agricultural products as well as the above challenges.
