Body & Society has from its inception in March 1995 as a peer-reviewed companion journal to Theory, Culture & Society, pioneered and shaped the field of body-studies. It has been committed to theoretical openness characterized by the publication of a wide range of critical approaches to the body, alongside the encouragement and development of innovative work that contains a trans-disciplinary focus.

Body Image is an international, peer-reviewed journal that publishes high-quality, scientific articles on body image and human physical appearance. Body image is a multi-faceted concept that refers to persons' perceptions and attitudes about their own body, particularly but not exclusively its appearance. The journal invites contributions from a broad range of disciplines - psychological science, other social and behavioral sciences, and medical and health sciences. The journal publishes original research articles, brief research reports, theoretical and review papers, and science-based practitioner reports of interest. Body, Movement and Dance in Psychotherapy is an international, peer-reviewed journal exploring the relationship between body and mind and focusing on the significance of the body and movement in the therapeutic setting. It is the only scholarly journal wholly dedicated to the growing fields of body (somatic) psychotherapy and dance movement therapy. The body is increasingly being recognized as a vehicle for expression, insight and change. Body, Space & Technology (BST) is a leading journal of contemporary artistic practice and research
and joined the OLH platform in Summer 2017. Since it launched in 2000, BST has built a strong
reputation for scholarly quality and innovation, as well as fostering a global academic community
around its published content. BST publishes research into artistic practice that engages with digital
technologies, particularly as these relate to bodily interaction and creativity, and in multi-disciplinary
perspectives. The journal is led by an Editorial Board of international experts.
At BST we are responsive to new artistic developments guided by artists’ own reflections on events
and the directions they choose to take. The Journal welcomes international readership and
contributions from artists and academics from all over the world. We remain committed to being an
