Communist and Post-Communist Studies

ISSN: 0967-067X
Communist and Post-Communist Studies is an international journal covering all communist and post-communist states and communist movements, including both their domestic policies and their international relations. It is focused on the analysis of historical as well as current developments in the communist and post-communist world, including ideology, economy and society. It also aims to provide comparative foci on a given subject (e.g. education in China) by inviting comments of a comparative character from scholars specializing in the same subject matter but in different countries (e.g. education in Poland or Romania).

In addition to the traditional disciplines of history, political science, economics and international relations, the http://www.journals.elsevier.com/communist-and-post-communist-studies/editorial-board/editors encourage the http://ees.elsevier.com/cpcssubmission of articles in less developed fields of social sciences and humanities, such as cultural anthropology, education, geography, religion and sociology.

Community Dentistry and Oral Epidemiology

ISSN: 0301-5661eISSN: 1600-0528

The aim of Community Dentistry and Oral Epidemiology is to serve as a forum for scientifically based information in community dentistry, with the intention of continually expanding the knowledge base in the field. The scope is therefore broad, ranging from original studies in epidemiology, behavioral sciences related to dentistry, and health services research through to methodological reports in program planning, implementation and evaluation. Reports dealing with people of all age groups are welcome. The journal encourages manuscripts which present methodologically detailed scientific research findings from original data collection or analysis of existing databases. Preference is given to new findings. Confirmations of previous findings can be of value, but the journal seeks to avoid needless repetition. It also encourages thoughtful, provocative commentaries on subjects ranging from research methods to public policies. Purely descriptive reports are not encouraged, nor are behavioral science reports with only marginal application to dentistry. The journal is published bimonthly.

“Real science is that which is for the whole world, and thus, if we want to be real scientists and – as is apt – good Hungarians, we have to raise the standard of science so high that it becomes visible even outside of our homeland and in turn is duly revered.” Eötvös Loránd – President of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (1899–1905) Akadémiai Kiadó, founded in 1828 by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, is Hungary’s oldest continuously operating publishing house. Our mission is to promote Hungarian and international science, that is, to publish the new discoveries in various areas of science, to effectively support information exchange amongst scientists on a global level, and to make scientific results a public property available for all who seek valuable and reliable knowledge. Our traditions oblige us. Our aim is to become the most significant scientific publishing house of Central and Eastern-Europe whilst maintaining excellent quality, further improving our important scientific and business partnerships, creating scientific, economic and social values and keeping ahead the revolution in communication technology that is reshaping the publishing industry. Companion Animal Health and Genetics accepts articles on the health and welfare of all companion animals, such as cats, dogs, horses, rodents, rabbits, birds, exotic pets, and fish. Due to their relevance and close genetic link, these studies may also include wild ancestors of companion animals.

We aim to provide guidelines for improving disease diagnostics, therapeutic interventions, and disease management strategies for policy makers, veterinarians, and pet breeders.

Formerly known as Canine Genetics and Epidemiology/Canine Medicine and Genetics, this journal began with an emphasis on genetic and epidemiological research relating to breed diversity as well as clinical reports on canine diseases and is now expanded to include studies on all companion animals.
