The journal Research, was launched in 2018 as the first journal in the Science Partner Journal (SPJ) program. Research is distributed by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) in association with Science and Technology Review Publishing House, the publishing house under the leadership of China Association for Science and Technology (CAST). Research publishes fundamental research in the life and physical sciences as well as important findings or issues in engineering and applied science. Topics of particular interest include, but are not limited to: Biology and life sciences; Micro- and nano-science; Artificial intelligence and information science; New energy studies; Mechanical science and engineering; Environmental science; Emerging materials research; Robotics and advanced manufacturing; Technological applications of all research
Science seeks to publish those papers that are most influential in their fields or across fields and that will significantly advance scientific understanding. Selected papers should present novel and broadly important data, syntheses, or concepts. They should merit recognition by the wider scientific community and general public provided by publication in Science, beyond that provided by specialty journals. Science welcome submissions from all fields of science and from any source.
Science Advances is a gold open access journal publishing impactful research papers and reviews in any area of science, in both disciplinary-specific and broad, interdisciplinary areas. Science Advances welcomes all submissions in life sciences, earth sciences, physical sciences, engineering, math, computer science, and the social sciences.
Science Immunology facilitates the understanding of the immune system by showcasing innovative advances in the expanding field of immunology, drawing from studies in all organisms and model systems including humans. Areas covered range from basic studies into the biology of innate and adaptive immunity (immune cell development and differentiation, immunogenomics, systems immunology, structural immunology, antigen presentation, immunometabolism, and mucosal immunology) to immune contributions to health and disease (host defense, inflammation, cancer immunology, autoimmunity, allergy, transplantation, and immunodeficiency). Content published in Science Immunology reports critical advances in all areas of immunological research, including important new tools and techniques.
Science Robotics provides a forum for the latest technological advances and for the critical social, ethical and policy issues surrounding robotics. Science Robotics is multidisciplinary, covering the traditional disciplines of robotics, as well as emerging trends such as advanced materials and bio-inspired designs; it covers all scales, from very large systems to micro/nano robots; its scope is broad, addressing both theoretical advances and practical applications; and it promotes reproducibility, facilitated by online supplementary materials and design/code repositories.
Science Translational Medicine promotes human health by providing a forum for communicating the latest research advances from biomedical, translational, and clinical researchers from all established and emerging disciplines relevant to medicine. To that end, Science Translational Medicine seeks articles that fill the scientific knowledge gaps at the junction of preclinical research and medical applications in order to accelerate the translation of this knowledge into new ways for preventing, diagnosing and treating human disease. Areas covered include Cardiovascular disease, immunology/vaccines, metabolism/diabetes/obesity, neuroscience/neurology/psychiatry, cancer, infectious diseases, policy, behavior, bioengineering, chemical genomics/drug discovery, imaging, applied physical sciences, medical nanotechnology, drug delivery, biomarkers, gene therapy/regenerative medicine, toxicology and pharmacokinetics, data mining, cell culture, animal and human studies, medical informatics, and other interdisciplinary approaches to medicine.
Science Partner Journal Space: Science & Technology is an online-only Open Access journal published in affiliation with Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) and distributed by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). BIT cooperates with China Academy of Space Technology (CAST) in managing the journal. The mission of Space: Science & Technology is to promote the exploration and research of space worldwide, to lead the rapid integration and technological breakthroughs of interdisciplinary sciences in the space field, and to build a high-level academic platform for discussion, cooperation, technological progress and information dissemination among professional researchers, engineers, scientists and scholars. The journal‘s scope includes space science, space technology, and space infrastructure and services as three major domains.
