Breathe is the clinical educational publication from the European Respiratory Society. Breathe publishes original review articles covering topics from basic science to up-to-date best practice, editorials covering forthcoming meetings and other events, case studies covering useful clinical situations that may arise, self-tutorial material, details of activities from the Early Career members of the ERS, literature summaries highlighting the hot topics among published material.

ERJ Open Research is a fully open access original research journal, published online by the European Respiratory Society. The journal aims to publish high-quality work in all fields of respiratory science and medicine, covering basic science, clinical translational science and clinical medicine.

The European Respiratory Journal is the flagship journal of the European Respiratory Society. The ERJ publishes clinical and experimental work relating to all aspects of adult and paediatric respiratory medicine, including cell biology, epidemiology, immunology, oncology, pathophysiology, imaging, occupational medicine, intensive care, sleep medicine and thoracic surgery. In addition to original research material, the ERJ also publishes editorial commentaries, reviews, short research letters and correspondence to the editor.

The European Respiratory Review publishes state-of-the-art reviews, updates, meeting proceedings, editorials letters and correspondence on current topical issues in respiratory medicine, science and surgery. All material is subject to independent peer review. Correspondence to the Chief Editor regarding published material is encouraged. The ERR is published quarterly, with each issue covering topics including tuberculosis, COPD, cystic fibrosis, respiratory infections, oncology and sleep disordered breathing. All articles are free to read, share and reuse for non-commercial purposes under the CC-BY-NC 4.0 licence. There are no article processing charges.
