Brazilian Journal of Veterinary Research and Animal Science is a bimonthly publication of the Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia of the Universidade de São Paulo, that publishes full papers, short communications and review articles concerned with veterinary medicine, zootechny and related fields.The journal has experienced many changes since its conception in 1938 as the "Revista da Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária da USP". The title was adjusted in 1972 to "Revista da Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia da USP", before assuming its present name in 1990. The journal's periodicity has also changed over the years to accommodate an increase in the number of papers submitted. Originally an annual journal, Brazilian Journal of Veterinary Research and Animal Science gradually matured into a biannual, then quartely publication, and now is released twice a month.Its abbreviated title is Braz. J. Vet. Res. Anim. Sci., which should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, and bibliographical references and strips.

The Revista Latino-Americana de Enfermagem (RLAE) is the official scientific publication of the University of São Paulo at Ribeirão Preto College of Nursing, Brazil, WHO Collaborating Centre for Nursing Research Development. Its mission is to publish scientific research results in nursing and other areas of interest for health professionals. This Journal is published in Brazil and circulates bimonthly in different countries around the world. Its first issue was published in January 1993. The printed version is issued in English and the electronic version in Portuguese, Spanish and English.
