Digital Signal Processing: a Review Journal is one of the oldest and most established journals in the field of signal processing yet it aims to be the most innovative one. The journal invites top quality research articles at the frontiers of research in all aspects of signal processing. Our objective is to provide a platform for the publication of groundbreaking research in signal processing with both academic and industrial appeal.The journal has a special emphasis on statistical signal processing methodology such as Bayesian signal processing, and encourages articles on emerging areas in signal processing which do not find space in other journals of the field. These include:environmental signal processing,stochastic modelling of biological and chemical processes,seismic signal processing,financial time series analysis,stochastic calculus,geophysical signal processing,systems biology,chemioinformatics,signal processing for human-computer interaction and intelligent user interfaces,signal processing for audio, visual and performance arts,signal processing for disaster management and prevention,signal processing for renewable energy,game theory and group theory for signal processing,information theory articles with a signal processing perspective.Papers in the classical application areas of signal processing such as telecommunications, speech and image processing are welcome only if they contain novel research. Purely application oriented articles in these areas should be submitted to the relevant dedicated journals. Similarly, authors who would like to submit on areas of neural networks or fuzzy sets are invited to submit their work to the appropriate journals.Digital Signal Processing: a Review Journal also aims to publish at least one high quality review article in every issue and to provide focus issues with special emphasis on emerging topics. Discussion articles in which several leading researchers discuss the future of a specific research area are also welcome.

Disability and Health Journal is a scientific, scholarly, and multidisciplinary journal for reporting original contributions that advance knowledge in disability and health. Topics may be related to global health, quality of life, and specific health conditions as they relate to disability. Such contributions include:• Reports of empirical research on the characteristics of persons with disabilities, environment, health outcomes, and determinants of health• Reports of empirical research on the Systematic or other evidence-based reviews and tightly conceived theoretical interpretations of research literature• Reports of empirical research on the Evaluative research on new interventions, technologies, and programs• Reports of empirical research on the Reports on issues or policies affecting the health and/or quality of life for persons with disabilities, using a scientific base.Disability and Health Journal describes and analyzes health and health related states using conceptual frameworks, including the international classification of functioning, disability and health. The Journal provides a forum for peer reviewed articles that identify, evaluate and promote existing and emerging models of healthcare delivery and/or health promotion which contribute to the improvements of health across the lifespan.The Journal focuses on individual health, public health, rehabilitation, health promotion, and community participation (e.g. employment, recreation, personal relationships and access to services).

The mechanisms and contexts of human communication are rapidly changing in the face of new domains of interaction, new technologies, and new global cultures. Contemporary forms of discourse often involve interaction with and through a plethora of technologies. These mechanisms and contexts provide both new artefacts of study and new tools for discourse analysts.Discourse, Context & Media is an international journal dedicated to exploring the full range of contemporary discourse work. It provides an innovative forum to present research that addresses all forms of discourse theory, data and methods - from detailed linguistic or interactional analyses to wider studies of representation, knowledge and ideology.The journal overtly seeks empirical contributions as well as papers that address the theoretical and methodological debates within discourse studies. Such approaches include, but are not limited to: conversation analysis; ethnomethodology; discursive psychology; critical discourse analysis; and sociolinguistics. The journal seeks to explore the challenges and opportunities provided to discourse scholars by digital media. Such media provide opportunities for new forms of data to be analysed, allow rethinking of existing theories and encourage the development of new models of interaction. Discourse, Context & Media is especially interested in contributions that make use of innovative methods and media for the analysis and presentation of data.

The aim of Discrete Applied Mathematics is to bring together research papers in different areas of algorithmic and applicable discrete mathematics as well as applications of combinatorial mathematics to informatics and various areas of science and technology. Contributions presented to the journal can be research papers, short notes, surveys, and possibly research problems. The Communications section will be devoted to the fastest possible publication of the brief outlines of recent research results, the detailed presentation of which might be submitted for possible publication in Discrete Applied Mathematics or elsewhere. The journal will also publish a limited number of book announcements as well as proceedings of conferences. Discrete Mathematics provides a common forum for significant research in many areas of discrete mathematics and combinatorics. Among the fields covered by Discrete Mathematics are graph and hypergraph theory, network theory, enumeration, coding theory, block designs, the combinatorics of partially ordered sets, extremal set theory, matroid theory, algebraic combinatorics, discrete geometry, matrices, and discrete probability theory.Items in the journal include research articles (Contributions or Notes, depending on length) and survey/expository articles (Perspectives). Efforts are made to process the submission of Notes (short articles) quickly. The Perspectives section features expository articles accessible to a broad audience that cast new light or present unifying points of view on well-known or insufficiently-known topics.Discrete Mathematics also publishes occasional Special Issues containing selected papers, often from a particular conference. Such issues are fully refereed and adhere to the normal high standards of the journal.

Discrete Optimization publishes research papers on the mathematical, computational and applied aspects of all areas of integer programming and combinatorial optimization. In addition to reports on mathematical results pertinent to discrete optimization, the journal welcomes submissions on algorithmic developments, computational experiments, and novel applications (in particular, large-scale and real-time applications). The journal also publishes clearly labelled surveys, reviews, short notes, and open problems.
