ACS Applied Optical Materials is an international and interdisciplinary forum to publish original experimental and theoretical, including simulation and modeling, research in optical materials, complementing the ACS Applied Materials portfolio. With a focus on innovative applications, ACS Applied Optical Materials also complements and expands the scope of existing ACS publications that focus on fundamental aspects of the interaction between light and matter in materials science.

Manuscripts that are essentially reporting data or applications of data are, in general, not suitable for publication in ACS Applied Optical Materials. All manuscripts are subject to critical, anonymous peer review. It is to be understood that the final decision relating to a manuscript's suitability rests solely with the Editor.

Asian Security aims to be the foremost journal on all aspects of the national and international security in Asia. The journal covers "traditional" issues such as interstate warfare, the regional balance of power, alliances and other multilateral security institutions, national defense policies, strategic culture, civil-military relations, nuclear proliferation, conventional arms racing, arms control, and conflict-prone areas. The journal also covers "new" security issues such as the stability of democratic transitions, globalization and its backlash, ethnic conflict, insurgency and counter insurgency, failing states, and transnational terrorism. The International Review of Intellectual Property and Competition Law (IIC), tracks worldwide developments in intellectual property and competition law, presenting the finest academic research in these fields from a European legal perspective.  Our scholarly emphasis concentrates on disseminating and expanding upon the European approach to law. Our goal is to set ourselves apart from other (esp. several US) publications. In particular it aims to explore the interface between the postcolonial writing of the modern global era and the economic forces of production which increasingly commodify culture.This approach embraces the deterritorialised nationalisms, the new ethnicities which intersect with and cut across national boundaries, 'new margins' created by global economic practices, global technologies and commodities, and redefinitions of the local that globalisation catalyses. A particular focus is on the reshaping of inner maps of the metropolis through the ethnic, diasporic voices and the alternative and interstitial modes of writing associated with the new margins.The Journal of Postcolonial Writing interrogates assumptions underpinning postcolonial theory and its liberationist rhetoric by focussing upon the discursive practices informing contemporary writing and the impact of the global, the regional, and the local upon each other. The Journal of the European Mathematical Society (JEMS) is the official journal of the EMS. The Society, founded in 1990, works at promoting joint scientific efforts between the many different structures that characterize European mathematics. JEMS will publish research articles in all active areas of pure and applied mathematics.
