The Hague Journal on the Rule of Law (HJRL) is a multidisciplinary journal that aims to deepen and broaden our knowledge and understanding about the rule of law. Its two main areas of interest are: 1) theoretical issues related to the conceptualization and implementation of the rule of law in domestic and international contexts; 2) the relation between the rule of law and economic development, democratization and human rights protection. The HJRL welcomes contributions from academics and practitioners with expertise in any relevant field, including law, anthropology, economics, philosophy, political science and sociology.
The Hague Journal on the Rule of Law is supported by the Hague Institute for the Internationalisation of Law (HiiL). It is indexed by the Westlaw UK Legal Journals Index (LJI) and the Index to Foreign Legal Publications.

Founded in 1967, High Energy Chemistry (Khimiya Vysokikh Energii) publishes original papers on radiation chemistry, photochemistry, plasma chemistry, laser chemistry, and other aspects of high energy chemistry. It is the only scientific journal of its kind. It publishes theoretical papers and reports on experimental studies in all areas of high energy chemistry, such as the interaction of high-energy particles with matter, the nature and reactivity of short-lived species induced by the action of particle and electromagnetic radiation or hot atoms on substances in their gaseous and condensed states, and chemical processes initiated in organic and inorganic systems by high-energy radiation.

High Temperature (Teplofizika Vysokikh Temperatur), founded in 1963, is a prominent Russian physical engineering journal. Coverage includes properties and processes in low-temperature plasmas; thermophysical properties of substances including pure materials, mixtures and alloys; phase equilibria; heat and mass transfer phenomena in particular by forced and free convections, boiling and condensation processes, radiation and complex heat transfer; methods and instruments of experimental techniques; high temperature installations and equipment for power engineering applications and more. The purpose of this journal is to promote the integration of theories, methods, and research in human physiology. The journal publishes original studies on brain function and its disturbances, including neural mechanisms subserving perception, learning, memory, emotion, and language. Human Physiology provides a forum for many physiological areas, such as respiration, circulation, the blood system, motor functions, and digestion, as well as sport and occupational physiology. All kinds of papers on environmental physiology, including adaptation to extreme (polar zone, desert) and new (space) external conditions, are encouraged. Each year, from one to three numbers of the journal are dedicated to the broad consideration of a selected problem (e.g., mechanisms of adaptation to natural factors or development of the brain functions of children). The Editorial Board is highly interested in the cooperation of scientists from all countries and accepts manuscripts submitted in English.

Hydrogeology Journal was founded in 1992 to foster understanding of hydrogeology; to describe worldwide progress in hydrogeology; and to provide an accessible forum for scientists, researchers, engineers, and practitioners in developing and industrialized countries. Since then, the journal has earned a large worldwide readership. In its scope it is policy-oriented and focused on applied research work.The Journal aims at contributing to the current policy debate across Europe and within its various countries. The IZA Journal of Migration is a peer-reviewed open access journal published under the brand SpringerOpen, covering all issues related to the economics of migration and ethnicity in developed or developing countries. The journal constitutes the first platform dedicated to fostering the international debate and to promoting publication excellence in the field of migration economics. The IZA Journal of Migration publishes original theoretical and applied contributions, including topics such as the determinants and consequences of human mobility in both sending and receiving regions and the analysis of migration experience – including the assimilation of migrants and their children, their occupational choices, the role of immigrants’ social networks and remittance behavior. Ichthyological Research is an official journal of the Ichthyological Society of Japan and is published quarterly in January, April, July, and November. The journal primarily publishes research papers on original work, either descriptive or experimental, that advances the understanding of the diversity of fishes. Ichthyological Research strives to cover all aspects of fish biology, including taxonomy, systematics, evolution, biogeography, ecology, ethology, genetics, morphology, and physiology. Ichthyological Research also publishes timely reviews and commentary on recent progress in active areas of research on fish biology. Inland Water Biology is the only journal covering fundamental research into all trophic levels of aquatic organisms: from viruses to fishes and aquatic mammals. These results are useful in comparative analysis of ecosystem function in different Earth regions.
