During the years 2009 and 2010 the frequency of the magazine increased from 1-2 volumes per year. This change, although transient has reduced considerablemetne publication time from receipt of mansucrito about 8 months. The subcommittee AGA publications, has been modified to modernize the structure of the editorial board, with the change of the shape of the Editor by the Editor and Co-Editor. Also, publishers incorporated vacancy thematic areas. To the delight of the geological community, institutions like the CONICET, have recognized the importance of the journal in disseminating geological issues and their importance for the advancement of the geological sciences at the regional level. With respect to the visibility of the journal, it is available in ScIELO without embargo period and is in the process of operating the OJS (Open Journal System) for managing electronic manuscripts. As is customary in the magazine featured articles are invited concerning the geology that address issues of indisputable geological significance. Aspectors such as adaptation to the requirements of the registration of intellectual property, the improvement in the quality of the publication for the purposes of possible indexing of the magazine are medium-term goals and require a sustained effort.

This journal published original results on the several aspects of the Entomology: systematics, morphology, biology, ecology, biogeography; included three sections: papers, scientific notes, and extensive reviews, the last only by invitation. All the contributions are reviewed by the Editorial Board with the participation of the foreigner referees.
