Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management is the official journal of CAUTHE (Council for Australasian University Tourism and Hospitality Education Inc.) The journal is committed to a broad range of topics including tourism and travel management, leisure and recreation studies and the emerging field of event management. It contains both theoretical and applied research papers, and encourages the submission of the results of collaborative research undertaken between academia and industry.

The Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Technology is a journal dedicated solely for research in technology, e-business and innovation in tourism and hospitality.

JoHLSTE is designed to have maximum impact through it being available on-line, fully archived and peer-reviewed.JoHLSTE is divided into seven sections: Editorial; Academic Papers; Practice Papers, Perspectives, Comments and Rejoinders, Research Notes and Reports and Education Resource Reviews.(1) The Editorial addresses items of contemporary interest on an ad-hoc basis.(2) For the Academic Papers section JoHLSTE invites full-length manuscripts (around 8,000 words) from a variety of disciplines. These papers will be subject to double blind peer review. Subjects covered include the broad areas of knowledge, policy, curriculum, learning and teaching, assessment, resources, employability, careers and quality. Both conceptual and empirical approaches are welcome. Manuscripts may take the form of research papers, case studies, literature reviews, critical evaluations, new methodologies and action research. Purely descriptive accounts are not considered suitable.(3) The Practice Papers section encourages shorter contributions (around 3,000 words) from practicing teachers and others involved in the delivery of education and training including; employers, educational managers, staff developers and library and careers guidance staff. In particular, it encourages reflection on, and critical review of good (and bad) practice with a view to sharing experiences and promoting a "learning profession".(4) The Perspectives section offers a platform (around 1,000-2,000 words) for contributors to make an initial mapping of the issues surrounding a recent development in Hospitality, Leisure, Sport and Tourism education. As such it can act as an early stimulant for further research.(5) Comments and Rejoinders offers an opportunity for readers to comment on articles published in previous editions of the journal.(6) Research Notes and Reports, which are shorter report-style pieces and commentaries, will also be considered for publication.(7) Education Resource Reviews offer provide critiques of resources related to student learning or effective teaching. A wide range of resources may be reviewed, including textbooks, websites, CD-ROMs, videos, databases and articles.

Journal of Outdoor Recreation and Tourism offers a dedicated outlet for research relevant to social sciences and natural resources.The journal publishes peer reviewed original research on all aspects of outdoor recreation planning and management, covering the entire spectrum of settings from wilderness to urban outdoor recreation opportunities. It also focuses on new products and findings in nature based tourism and park management.JORT is an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary journal, articles may focus on any aspect of theory, method, or concept of outdoor recreation research, planning or management, and interdisciplinary work is especially welcome, and may be of a theoretical and/or a case study nature. The Journal of Policy Research in Tourism, Leisure & Events provides a critical focus on a variety of policy debates relating to the tourism, leisure and events sectors. Such policy debates will encompass economic, social, cultural, political and environmental perspectives. The journal welcomes research on questions of policy formation and change, planning, strategy, policy instruments and implementation, and evaluation and impact assessment. Inter- and multi-disciplinary submissions would be particularly welcome.The journal is international in orientation, and seeks high quality theoretical and empirical papers that advance knowledge in this field. It welcomes submissions from all relevant subject areas, such as sport, leisure, physical education and tourism, and from a wide range of disciplines including, but not confined to: sociology, psychology, geography, policy studies, management studies, economics and marketing. Submissions may be empirical or conceptual, but should have a clearly articulated theoretical basis. JS&T takes an inclusive and wide-ranging view of the definitions of both sport and tourism, and therefore considers professional and amateur, competitive and non-competitive, social, recreational, and informal activities, as well as leisure, business, and day-trip tourism, to fall within its scope. The journal is interested in tourism incorporating any form of sporting interest, not just tourism to actively participate in sport. Consequently, manuscripts relating to tourism where sport is a subsidiary interest or activity are as appropriate for submission to JS&T as manuscripts relating to tourism where sport is the prime purpose. JS&T also covers wider aspects of the relationship between sport and tourism, such as policy partnerships between sport and tourism agencies or the role of tourism in sports development, and is interested in manuscripts that bring perspectives traditionally associated with the tourism area to the study of sport, and vice-versa. All manuscripts published in JS&T are double-blind peer reviewed by accomplished scholars in the subject/topic area of the manuscript and in the disciplinary or methodological approach used. The standard for publication in JS&T is that the paper must make a clear contribution substantively, theoretically or methodologically, to the body of knowledge relating to the relationship between sport and tourism. Peer Review Statement As noted above, all research articles in JS&T undergo a rigorous peer review process. This involves initial screening by the Editor and an Assistant Editor prior to double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers. As such, all research articles published in JS&T have been scrutinised by at least four scholars working in the field. The Journal of Sustainable Tourism advances critical understanding of the relationships between tourism and sustainable development. The journal publishes theoretical, conceptual and empirical research that explores one or more of the economic, social, cultural, political, organisational or environmental aspects of the subject. Contributions are from all disciplinary perspectives, with inter-disciplinary work being especially welcome. Holistic and integrative work is encouraged.
