Architectural Theory Review is an international forum for generating, exchanging and reflecting on architectural theory. It is a review in the sense of a periodical publication containing articles, discussions, and review essays concerned with the contemporary state of architectural theory. But more than this, it uses the notion of review as a verb, to forge a distinct approach to architectural theory and discourse. The journal investigates relationships between current critical issues, the legacy of past debates, and the continued reconfiguration of enduring concerns in architectural theory. ATR values the untimely as well as the propitious - attending to the overlooked and unrealised as well as the projective, and thus allows for critical and even subversive readings of what architectural theory has been, can be and will be. The underpinning for ATR's editorial approach is thus not a disciplinary field or ideological position, but rather a formal strategy. Each special issue of ATR concentrates on reviewing a particular object 8211; whether a text, a drawing, a building, or otherwise 8211; the implications and legacies of which are addressed by the contributors to that special issue. The selected object is thus a catalyst: a point of departure or contention; of revision, re-evaluation, and review. The Archive of Applied Mechanics aims to disseminate new results and methods of scientific research in the fields of solid and fluid mechanics, dynamics, vibrations and control. Mechanics of material, fracture and damage mechanics, material modeling in biomechanics, hydrodynamics and fluid-structure interaction are especially emphasized. Included are related disciplines, in a form useful to engineering practice. New analytical, numerical and experimental methods suited to research in the above-mentioned subjects are also welcomed.The Archive of Applied Mechanics was founded as 'Ingenieur-Archiv' in 1929 (Vol. 1) by R. Grammel. The title was changed to Archive of Applied Mechanics in 1991.

All papers are subject to a referee procedure.ACME does not accept manuscripts containing:• Simulation with no experimental verification and/or which gives no new insight into the process.• The analysis of material properties or product performance without reference to the processing which caused them and their application.
Archives of Computational Methods in Engineering provides an active forum for the dissemination of results in both research and advanced practice in computational engineering, with particular emphasis on mechanics and its related areas. The journal exclusively publishes extended state-of-the-art reviews in selected areas, a unique feature of the journal. Reviews published in the journal not only offer a survey of the current literature, but also a critical exposition of the topic in its full complexity. A partial list of topics includes modeling; solution techniques and applications of computational methods in a variety of areas (e.g., liquid and gas dynamics, solid and structural mechanics, bio-mechanics, etc.); variational formulations and numerical algorithms related to implementation of the finite and boundary element methods; finite difference and finite volume methods; and other basic computational methodologies.
