Cellular & Molecular Immunology

ISSN: 1672-7681eISSN: 2042-0226

Cellular & Molecular Immunology is a bimonthly journal from the Chinese Society of Immunology and the University of Science and Technology of China. Covering both basic immunology research and clinical applications, Cellular & Molecular Immunology provides the latest information and advancements in our understanding of the immunological response of the host, both in vitro and in vivo. The journal publishes Research Articles, Reviews, Minireviews and Brief Reports in all areas of cellular and molecular immunology, including but not limited to: * clinical immunology * comparative immunology * immunobiology * immunogenetics * immunological techniques * immunopathology * immunopharmacology * infection immunology * neuroimmunology * transplantation immunology * tumor immunology * veterinary immunologyAs China's first English-language immunology journal, Cellular & Molecular Immunology is designed to serve both the Chinese and international communities as a vehicle to rapidly disseminate the latest studies in this field. The journal welcomes submissions that explore novel ideas or un- or contra-orthodox approaches, as long as they are underpinned by conventional scientific practice and present falsifiable hypotheses that are tested with empirical methods and evidence.Manuscripts must provide evidence that can be critically evaluated, and where applicable: * define disorders and clinical symptoms by standard clinical terms (e.g. allergy, asthma, lupus, etc.) * deem results 'significant' only using standard statistical methods in biological effects/outcomes studies * use consistent and defined amounts and mixtures of herbal formulas, or use purified monomer extracts.Terms that may be ambiguous to the broad audience of the journal should be clearly defined within the manuscript.

Clinical Reviews in Allergy and Immunology

ISSN: 1080-0549eISSN: 1559-0267

The development of clinical allergy as a discipline of scientific medicine has, until recently, lagged behind that of other subspecialties in internal medicine and pediatrics. The discovery of immunoglobulin E, the development of standardized protocols for allergy skin testing and challenge procedures, and concurrent advances in cell biology have all led to a major thrust by new data in changing the approach to the clinical management of allergic disease. The object of this journal is to publish scholarly review papers, with each issue devoted to a single theme, in an attempt to provide comprehensive treatment of a subject of critical importance to allergists. The journal publishes both experimental papers and comprehensive treatises placing new data in perspective. The ultimate objective is to help improve the care and management of patients with allergic disease.

Comparative Immunology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases

ISSN: 0147-9571eISSN: 1878-1667

Based on the concept of "One World, One Health, One Medicine", interdisciplinary cooperation between specialists in human and animal medicine is of mutual interest and benefit. Therefore, there is need to combine the respective interest of physicians, veterinarians and other health professionals for comparative studies relevant to either human or animal medicine.Comparative Immunology, Microbiology & Infectious Diseases aims to respond to this concept of "One World, One Health, One Medicine" and to provide a venue for scientific exchange. The journal is open to subjects of common interest related to the immunology, immunopathology, microbiology and epidemiology of human and animal infectious diseases, especially zoonotic infections, and animal models of human infectious diseases. The role of environmental factors in disease emergence is emphasized.Original research papers of high quality and novelty on aspects of host response, molecular biology, pathogenesis, control and prevention and treatment of microbial diseases of domestic animals and wildlife (if the infections are of zoonotic interest and/or in relation with domestic animals), laboratory animals and animal models of human infections are considered for publication. Papers dealing primarily with epidemiology will only be considered if they demonstrate a clear impact on the pathogenesis or prevention of a disease. Similarly, articles addressing microbiology, immunology or pathogenesis must address issues of comparative medical interest.Review articles are highly appreciated. They should focus either on a pathogen or on analyses of the mechanisms of host-microbe interactions including epidemiological studies.Papers focusing solely on diagnostic techniques, case reports or drug trials will not be published. Papers of geographically limited interest, which repeat what had been established elsewhere, will not be considered. The readership of the journal is global. The Editors reserve the right to suggest submission to another journal for those papers which they feel would be more appropriate for consideration by that journal.Papers will be rejected if standards of care of, or procedures performed on animals are not beyond those expected of humane veterinary care. Standards must, at least, meet the International Guiding Principles for Biomedical Research involving Animals, as issued by the Council for International Organizations of Medical Sciences. (C.I.O.M.S., c/o WHO, CH 1211 Geneva 27, Switzerland).

Critical Reviews in Immunology

ISSN: 1040-8401eISSN: 2162-6472

The great advances in immunology in recent years make this field one of the most rapidly growing in biological sciences. This remarkable growth is stimulated by the influx of investigators from other disciplines such as biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, and by an increased number of investigators who came to immunology through the more traditional routes of microbiology and various medical disciplines. As a consequence, immunology has become a vast and rich field encompassing outlooks that range from the highly clinical to the highly molecular. Although such perspectives may appear diverse, they are, in fact, highly interdependent. Critical ReviewsTM in Immunology presents a balanced overview of contemporary immunology and melds together molecular immunology and immunobiology.
