Art Therapy: Journal of the American Art Therapy Association is the official journal of the American Art Therapy Association and the leading publication in the field of art therapy. The purpose of the Journal is to advance the understanding of how visual art functions in the treatment, education, development, and enrichment of people. A recognized academic publication for more than twenty years, Art Therapy provides a scholarly forum for diverse points of view on art therapy and strives to present a broad spectrum of ideas in therapy, practice, professional issues and research.

Complementary Therapies in Medicine is an international, peer-reviewed journal that has considerable appeal to anyone who seeks objective and critical information on complementary therapies or who wishes to deepen their understanding of these approaches. It will be of particular interest to healthcare practitioners including family practitioners, complementary therapists, nurses, and physiotherapists; to academics including social scientists and CAM researchers; to healthcare managers; and to patients.Complementary Therapies in Medicine aims to publish valid, relevant and rigorous research and serious discussion articles with the main purpose of improving healthcare. Recognising that some forms of CAM present novel and complex interventions, the journal encourages the exploration of the methodology of research. It believes that researchers should always aim at employing high ethical and methodological standards, and also welcomes small or exploratory studies that make a contribution to the area. Well conducted studies with negative outcomes are also welcome if they inform patient care. The journal welcomes considered opinion pieces that reflect genuine disagreements but remain respectful of the views of others.Each issue features original, high quality research on complementary medicine, an abstracts sections with details of recently published research of high importance, as well as information and experiences on intregrating complementary medicine into mainstream care.

Zielsetzung der Zeitschrift
Manuelle Medizin richtet sich an Orthopäden/Unfallchirurgen, Allgemeinmediziner, Rheumatologen, Internisten und Traumatologen sowie an Krankengymnasten und Physiotherapeuten in Klinik und Praxis. Die Zeitschrift fördert durch den interdisziplinären Ansatz die wissenschaftliche, praktische und berufsständische Entwicklung der Manuellen Medizin.
Praxisorientierte Übersichtsarbeiten greifen ausgewählte Themen auf und bieten dem Leser eine Zusammenstellung aktueller Erkenntnisse aus allen Bereichen der Manuellen Medizin und der Osteopathischen Medizin. Daneben werden relevante Fragestellungen der Kieferorthopädie und Zahnheilkunde aufgegriffen. Neben der Vermittlung von relevantem Hintergrundwissen liegt der Schwerpunkt dabei auf der Bewertung wissenschaftlicher Ergebnisse unter Berücksichtigung praktischer Erfahrung – der Leser erhält konkrete Handlungsempfehlungen.
