This international journal publishes original scientific articles, short communications and reviews on all aspects of phytopathology on the population, organism, physiological, biochemical and molecular genetic level. The scope is on plant diseases induced by microbial pathogens, viruses and nematodes. Papers should address phytopathological and epidemiological aspects of plant diseases with regard to their management and control. The journal is eminently suitable for university teachers, researchers in universities, research institutes, and industry as well as for postgraduate and advanced students. The Journal of Plant Growth Regulation is an international journal publishing original articles on all aspects of plant growth and development. Published manuscripts report question-based research using hormonal, physiological, environmental, genetical, biophysical, developmental or molecular approaches to the study of plant growth regulation. The journal offers reviews on highly relevant areas in plant growth and development, including interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis on plant growth and plant pathology or abiotic stress. Also included are meeting notes, brief articles, novel techniques and thematic issues with special guest editors.

Langenbeck's Archives of Surgery publishes the best results in the field of clinical surgery and basic surgical research. The focus is on the highest level of clinical research and clinically relevant basic research. Published exclusively in English, the journal offers an international discussion forum for controlled results of clinical surgery. Most contributions are original articles that report clinical data from visceral, vascular and thoracic surgery, as well as traumatology and transplantation surgery. Laser and Particle Beams is an international journal which deals with basic physics issues of intense laser and particle beams, and the interaction of these beams with matter. Research on pulse power technology associated with beam generation is also of strong interest. Romani Studies is an international, interdisciplinary journal publishing modern scholarship in all branches of Romani/Gypsy studies. Founded in 1888, the Journal of the Gypsy Lore Society was published in four series up to 1982. In 2000, the journal became Romani Studies. Under the sponsorship of the Gypsy Lore Society (formerly Gypsy Lore Society, North American Chapter), Romani Studies features articles on the cultures of groups traditionally known as Gypsies as well as Travellers and other peripatetic groups. When the Scandinavian Journal of the Old Testament was first published in 1987, it was expected to become the principal forum of Scandinavian Old Testament research.
