The Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology®(JCCP) publishes original contributions on the following topics:the development, validity, and use of techniques of diagnosis and treatment of disordered behavior;studies of a variety of populations that have clinical interest, including but not limited to medical patients, ethnic minorities, persons with serious mental illness, and community samples;studies that have a cross-cultural or demographic focus and are of interest for treating behavior disorders;studies of personality and of its assessment and development where these have a clear bearing on problems of clinical dysfunction and treatment;studies of gender, ethnicity, or sexual orientation that have a clear bearing on diagnosis, assessment, and treatment;studies of psychosocial aspects of health behaviors; andmethodologically sound case studies pertinent to the preceding topics.Studies that focus on populations that fall anywhere within the lifespan are considered.JCCP welcomes submissions on treatment and prevention in all areas of clinical and clinical–health psychology and especially on topics that appeal to a broad clinical–scientist and practitioner audience.JCCP encourages the submission of theory–based interventions, studies that investigate mechanisms of change, and studies of the effectiveness of treatments in real-world settings.Studies on the following topics will be considered if they have clear implications for clinical research and practice:epidemiology;use of psychological services;health care economics for behavioral disorders;theoretical papers;critical analyses and meta-analyses of treatment approaches on topics of broad theoretical, methodological, or practical interest to the field of clinical psychology.JCCP does not consider manuscripts dealing with the etiology or descriptive pathology of abnormal behavior (which are more appropriate for the Journal of Abnormal Psychology). Similarly, the journal does not consider articles focusing primarily on assessment, measurement, and diagnostic procedures and concepts (which are more appropriate for Psychological Assessment). Editors reserve the right to determine the most appropriate location of a manuscript.

As the flagship journal of the Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD), Child Development has published articles, essays, reviews, and tutorials on various topics in the field of child development since 1930. Spanning many disciplines, the journal provides the latest research, not only for researchers and theoreticians, but also for child psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, psychiatric social workers, specialists in early childhood education, educational psychologists, special education teachers, and other researchers. In addition to six issues per year of Child Development, subscribers to the journal also receive a full subscription to Child Development Perspectives and Monographs of the Society for Research in Child Development.

The Journal of the Learning Sciences provides a multidisciplinary forum for the presentation of research on learning and education. The journal seeks to foster new ways of thinking about learning that will allow our understanding of cognition and social cognition to have impact in education. It publishes research articles that advance our understanding of learning in real-world situations and of promoting learning in such venues, including articles that report on the roles of technology can play in promoting deep and lasting learning. The Journal of the Learning Sciences promotes engaging and thoughtful participation in learning activities, and articles reporting on new methodologies that enable rigorous investigation of learning in real-world situations.

Architectural Theory Review is an international forum for generating, exchanging and reflecting on architectural theory. It is a review in the sense of a periodical publication containing articles, discussions, and review essays concerned with the contemporary state of architectural theory. But more than this, it uses the notion of review as a verb, to forge a distinct approach to architectural theory and discourse. The journal investigates relationships between current critical issues, the legacy of past debates, and the continued reconfiguration of enduring concerns in architectural theory. ATR values the untimely as well as the propitious - attending to the overlooked and unrealised as well as the projective, and thus allows for critical and even subversive readings of what architectural theory has been, can be and will be. The underpinning for ATR's editorial approach is thus not a disciplinary field or ideological position, but rather a formal strategy. Each special issue of ATR concentrates on reviewing a particular object 8211; whether a text, a drawing, a building, or otherwise 8211; the implications and legacies of which are addressed by the contributors to that special issue. The selected object is thus a catalyst: a point of departure or contention; of revision, re-evaluation, and review. Journal of Positive Behavior Interventions (PBI) offers sound, research-based principles of positive behavior support for use in school, home and community settings with people with challenges in behavioral adaptation. Regular features include empirical research; discussion, literature reviews, and conceptual papers; programs, practices, and innovations; forum; and media reviews.

Papers considering applications and analysis of computational mathematics should be submitted to the sister Journal,  International Journal of Computer Mathematics (IJCM). Any papers submitted relating to these fields will be transferred to IJCM. Please ensure you submit your paper to the correct journal to save time reviewing and processing your work.

Please note that papers developed from conference proceedings or previously published work must contain at least 40% new material and significantly extend or improve upon earlier research.

Proposals for special issues in cutting-edge areas are encouraged, and should be discussed with the Editor-in-Chief.

All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor-in-Chief, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to rigorous and rapid peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees.
