"No philosophy journal published in English is more highly regarded than the Philosophical Review.” —David Sanford, Duke University In continuous publication since 1892, the Philosophical Review has a long-standing reputation for excellence and has published many papers now considered classics in the field, such as W. V. O. Quine's "Two Dogmas of Empiricism,” Thomas Nagel's "What Is It Like to Be a Bat?” and the early work of John Rawls. The journal aims to publish original scholarly work in all areas of analytic philosophy, with an emphasis on material of general interest to academic philosophers, and is one of the few journals in the discipline to publish book reviews.

Founded in 1933 by a group of young British and American economists, The Review of Economic Studies aims to encourage research in theoretical and applied economics, especially by young economists. Today it is one of the core economics journals, ranking consistently among the top half dozen titles. The Review of Economic Studies is essential reading, including articles from well-established specialists and young research scholars, and has a reputation for publishing path-breaking papers in theoretical and applied economics.

The Dermatologica Sinica aims to publish high quality scientific research in the field of dermatology, with the goal of promoting and disseminating medical science knowledge to improve global health. Articles on clinical, laboratory and social research in dermatology and other related fields that are of interest to the medical profession are eligible for consideration. Review articles, original articles, case reports, short communications, and letters to the editor are accepted. The journal is published every 3 months, with a total of 4 issues a year

The Development and Sustainability in Economics and Finance publishes original research articles, review articles, case studies, and commentaries relating to all aspects of development and sustainability appearing in economic or financial issues. DSEF is a cross-disciplinary, scholarly, and operational journal on environmental, cultural, economic, and social sustainability of human beings faced with financial or economic challenges. This journal focuses on the study of economic and financial issues to solve and understand the main challenges of our continuously changing and developing world.

Current Opinion in Chemical Engineering is devoted to bringing forth short and focused review articles written by experts on current advances in different areas of chemical engineering. Only invited review articles will be published.The goals of each review article in Current Opinion in Chemical Engineering are:1. To acquaint the reader/researcher with the most important recent papers in the given topic.2. To provide the reader with the views/opinions of the expert in each topic.The reviews are short (about 2500 words or 5-10 printed pages with figures) and serve as an invaluable source of information for researchers, teachers, professionals and students. The reviews also aim to stimulate exchange of ideas among experts.Themed sections:Each review will focus on particular aspects of one of the following themed sections of chemical engineering:1. Nanotechnology2. Energy and environmental engineering3. Biotechnology and bioprocess engineering4. Biological engineering (covering tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, drug delivery)5. Separation engineering (covering membrane technologies, adsorbents, desalination, distillation etc.)6. Materials engineering (covering biomaterials, inorganic especially ceramic materials, nanostructured materials).7. Process systems engineering8. Reaction engineering and catalysis.Selection of the topics to be reviewed:Section Editors of each themed section are authorities in the field and are selected by the Editors of the journal. They divide their section into a number of topics ensuring that the field is comprehensively covered and that all issues of current importance are emphasized. Section Editors commission reviews from authorities on each topic that they have selected. Each issue of the journal will focus on two themed sections. There will be four issues of the journal per year covering each themed section once per year.Reviews:Authors write short review articles in which they present most recent developments in their subject, emphasizing the aspects that, in their opinion, are most important. In addition, they provide short annotations to the papers that they consider to be most interesting from all those published in their topic over the previous three to four years. The review articles undergo internal review by the Section Editors, Editorial Board members and the Editors.Editorial Overview:Section Editors write a short overview at the beginning of the section to introduce the reviews and to draw the reader's attention to any particularly interesting developments.

Die Zeitschrift Somnologie ist das offizielle Organ der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Schlafforschung und Schlafmedizin (DGSM), der Österreichischen Gesellschaft für Schlafmedizin und Schlafforschung (ÖGSM) und der Schweizerischen Gesellschaft für Schlafforschung, Schlafmedizin und Chronobiologie (SGSSC).

Auf der Basis von aktuellen, klinisch relevanten Forschungsergebnissen, befasst sie sich mit der Ätiologie, Pathophysiologie, Differenzialdiagnostik und Therapie der verschiedenen Schlafstörungen.

Eine wissenschaftlich hochqualifizierte Analyse der verschiedenen Ursachen von Schlafstörungen erfordert die Kooperation einer Vielzahl von medizinischen Fachdis-ziplinen. Durch die Zusammenarbeit von Vertretern aus den Bereichen der Epidemiologie, Humangenetik, HNO, Mund-Kiefer-Gesichtschirurgie, Innere Medizin, Pneumologie, Kardiologie, Gastroenterologie, Neurologie, Neurophysiologie, Physiologie, Psychologie, Pädiatrie und Pharmakologie erfüllt die Somnologie die multidisziplinären Anforderungen der Schlafforschung und Schlafmedizin.

Neben experimentellen und klinischen Originalarbeiten werden Reviews, Fallberichte sowie Empfehlungen und Leitlinien publiziert. Durch das Peer-Review-Verfahren und Online-First-Publikationen gewährleistet die Zeitschrift international wissenschaftlichen Standard. Official Journal of the German Sleep Society (DGSM), the Austrian Sleep Research Association (ASRA) and the Swiss Society of Sleep Research, Sleep Medicine, and Chronobiology (SSSSC).

On the basis of current, clinically relevant research results, the journal Somnologie is concerned with the etiology, pathophysiology, differential diagnostics and treatment of various sleep disorders.

A scientific, comprehensive analysis of the various causes of sleep disorders requires the cooperation of several branches of medicine. Due to the cooperation of, specialists in the areas of epidemiology, human genetics, ENT, OMF, internal medicine, pneumology, cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology, neurophysiology, physiology, psychology, pediatrics, and pharmacology, Somnologie fulfills the multidisciplinary requirements of sleep research and sleep medicine.In addition to experimental and clinical original articles, reviews, case reports, recommendations and guidelines are published. With the peer-review process and Online First publication of articles, the journal ensures international scientific standards.

Contributors of articles typically come from academic backgrounds. However, the articles are written in an accessible style to benefit both scholars and practitioners; also, manuscripts are to be received and accepted from every corner of the world to reach the global readership.

All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees. All peer review is double-blind and submission is via email to jgsmeditor@snu.ac.kr.
