Inquiry is an Interdisciplinary Journal of Philosophy. Founded by Arne Naess in 1958, Inquiry has come to occupy a distinctive and highly valued place amongst the philosophical journals. Inquiry is a refereed journal, publishing in all areas of philosophy. It has made its most distinctive mark in fostering exchange across the various internal boundaries and barriers that characterized philosophy over the past century. It has been a significant force in breaking down the distinction between so-called 'analytic' and 'continental' philosophy; it seeks to connect the history of philosophy with its current practice; it has been a venue for cross-fertilization between philosophy and the social sciences; and it seeks connections between fundamental philosophical issues and contemporary cultural developments. Inquiry publishes research articles, symposia, special issues, target articles, review essays, art reviews and critical discussions. Under the leadership of a distinguished international editorial board, the journal has created a forum presenting a wide range of material of the highest standard from philosophers across the world, reflecting the best thinking from a variety of philosophical perspectives, in a way that is accessible to all.

Safety and Health at Work (SH@W) is an international, peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal published quarterly in English beginning in 2010. The journal is aimed at providing grounds for the exchange of ideas and data developed through research experience in the broad field of occupational health and safety. Articles may deal with scientific research to improve workers' health and safety by eliminating occupational accidents and diseases, pursuing a better working life, and creating a safe and comfortable working environment. The journal focuses primarily on original articles across the whole scope of occupational health and safety, but also welcomes up-to-date review papers and short communications and commentaries on urgent issues and case studies on unique epidemiological survey, methods of accident investigation, and analysis. High priority will be given to articles on occupational epidemiology, medicine, hygiene, toxicology, nursing and health services, work safety, ergonomics, work organization, engineering of safety (mechanical, electrical, chemical, and construction), safety management and policy, and studies related to economic evaluation and its social policy and organizational aspects. Its abbreviated title is Saf Health Work.

Pain Research & Management will consider for publication original papers on any scientific aspect of pain, namely basic science and animal studies, and clinical topics, including epidemiological, social, psychological and psychiatric aspects, as well as reviews and case reports. Management topics, the economic aspects of pain and historical studies are also welcome. Papers may deal with specific Canadian aspects of pain, but there is no restriction in this respect and international submissions will be readily received. The Journal is pleased to accept articles in either English or French. Manuscripts are received with the understanding that they are submitted solely to Pain Research & Management and that, apart from abstracts, none of the material contained in the manuscript has been published previously or is under consideration for publication elsewhere. The publisher reserves copyright on all published material and material may not be reproduced without the written permission of the publisher. Statements and opinions are the responsibility of the authors. Written approval by the local animal or human institutional review committee must be stated in the manuscript except for work that is noninvasive and minimally intrusive, or that is based upon routine clinical statistics already existing for the purposes of clinical care or follow-up and is part of the ordinary treatment of patients or human subjects.

Annals of Nutrition and Metabolism is a leading international peer-reviewed journal for sharing information on human nutrition, metabolism, and related fields, covering the broad and multidisciplinary nature of science in nutrition and metabolism. The journal focuses on human nutrition and metabolism, and related areas, including experimental studies and basic science that can inform human nutrition science. We welcome manuscripts describing observational and intervention studies as well as basic science reports on the topics of foods, diets and dietary supplements, nutrigenomics and genetics related to metabolism, on energy metabolism, macro- and micronutrients including vitamins and minerals, biofunctional compounds, dietetics, obesity, clinical nutrition, social sciences and health economy as related to nutrition and metabolism, and nutrition policy. Laboratory-based science may include descriptions of relevant experimental models. In addition to original papers, the journal will publish review articles on topical subjects, systematic reviews, short commentaries and viewpoint articles that may address current controversies, short meeting reports, letters to the editor, and announcements/society news. The journal will also publish supplements with proceedings from internationally relevant conferences on nutrition and metabolism.

Journal of Curriculum Studies publishes original refereed contributions on all aspects of curriculum studies (including those derived from historical, philosophical, comparative and policy-related investigations), pedagogic theory, teacher education and development, assessment and evaluation, and the present state of schooling. In keeping with its international character, Journal of Curriculum Studies especially welcomes articles which extend the perspectives of curriculum beyond national boundaries. Peer Review Policy: The Journal of Curriculum Studies is a peer-reviewed journal. After an initial editorial screening, all submissions judged editorially appropriate are blind reviewed by at least two external peers.
