For nearly a century now, the periodical English Studies has been one of the defining publications in the field of 'English'. 2) PNE reserves the right to reject papers which are based solely on routine application of computer codes used to produce reactor designs or explain existing reactor phenomena. Such papers, although worthy, are best left as laboratory reports whereas Progress in Nuclear Energy seeks papers of originality, which are archival in nature, in the fields of mathematical and experimental nuclear technology, including fission, fusion (blanket physics, radiation damage), safety, materials aspects, economics, etc.
3) Review papers, which may occasionally be invited, are particularly sought by the journal in these fields.

Established in 1974, the Zeitschrift für Historische Forschung is the only German-language journal that concentrates on the epochs of the Late Middle Ages and Early Modern Age. This concept is based on the idea of thematising the history of the European Pre-Modern Period from the High Middle Ages to the Reformation and up to the revolutionary Saddle Period around 1800 as a structural unit. In a methodical and factual sense, the ZHF illustrates the diversity of German-language historical scholarship. The Chinese Journal of Communication (CJoC) is a scholarly publication aimed at elevating Chinese communication studies along theoretical, empirical, and methodological dimensions, while contributing to the understanding of media, information, and communication phenomena around the world. This fully refereed journal is an important international platform for students and scholars in Chinese communication studies to exchange ideas and research results, both with each other and globally. Interdisciplinary in scope, it examines subjects in all Chinese societies in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, Singapore, and the global Chinese diaspora, which, in total, account for a quarter of humanity. This multidisciplinary journal is based on the assumption that the critical issues pertaining to spatial cognition and computation lie at the intersection of a number of disciplines--in particular, cognitive psychology, computer science, geography, neuropsychology, and artificial intelligence.
