The Journal of Texture Studies is a peer-reviewed international journal historically specialized in the texture and sensory perception of food and other consumer products. The journal was first published in 1969 and has been the primary source for disseminating advances in all sciences related to physical characterization and sensory perception of texture, in particular in areas such as food rheology and microstructure, tactile senses and texture perception, texture features and material attributes (composition, structure, and processing), food oral consumption, and studies associated with eating and sensory appreciation.With the ever expanding research interests of texture studies and increasing cross-disciplinary research with the allied health industries, the Journal has redefined its scope to better reflect the broadened research activities and interests associated with texture and sensory perception. Recent developments in the discipline reveal a greater awareness of the essential role of oral and brain processes in texture and perception. Beyond the traditional subject matter of the journal, the editors welcome research articles, research notes, review papers, and discussion papers from contributors of food physics, oral physiology, sensory psychology, and other relevant disciplines. Urban Forestry and Urban Greening is a refereed, international journal aimed at presenting high-quality research with urban and peri-urban woody and non-woody vegetation and its use, planning, design, establishment and management as its main topics. Urban Forestry and Urban Greening concentrates on all tree-dominated (as joint together in the urban forest) as well as other green resources in and around urban areas, such as woodlands, public and private urban parks and gardens, urban nature areas, street tree and square plantations, botanical gardens and cemeteries.The journal welcomes fundamental and applied research papers, as well as review papers and short communications. Contributions should focus on one or more of the following aspects:Form and functions of urban forests and other vegetation, including aspects of urban ecology.Policy-making, planning and design related to urban forests and other vegetation.Selection and establishment of tree resources and other vegetation for urban environments.Management of urban forests and other vegetation.Original contributions of a high academic standard are invited from a wide range of disciplines and fields, including forestry, biology, horticulture, arboriculture, landscape ecology, pathology, soil science, hydrology, landscape architecture, landscape planning, urban planning and design, economics, sociology, environmental psychology, medicine, and education.Special attention will be given to interdisciplinary research as developed under the approaches of, for example, urban forestry, arboriculture, urban greening, urban ecology, urban health, urban agriculture, urban horticulture, urban silviculture, and community forestry.The papers should be written in a style that is understandable to specialists from other disciplines as well as interested policy-makers and higher-level practitioners.

Sustainable Cities and Society (SCS) publishes a wide range of original high quality papers covering fundamental and applied research, critical reviews and case studies. It focuses on research and multi-disciplinary work aiming to reduce the environmental and societal impact of future cities and covers topics including design, modelling, analytical tools, testing/experimental work, optimization, environmental assessment, new codes, regulations, policy, economics, monitoring, post occupancy evaluation and legislation related to sustainable cities. In addition to fundamental and applied papers, review articles on important developments will be included. Special issues devoted to international conferences and reviews of books and major reports will be published too.Key areas covered by SCS are:Energy (creating and securing sustainable energy supplies and improving the efficiency of power generation, transmission and use);Water (sustainable water management and water preservation/recycling);Air (management of air pollution, improvement of air quality and reduction of CO2 emissions from buildings and transport;) andThe Earth (preservation of raw materials, new construction materials and energy efficient design).Submissions welcome from engineers (mechanical, building services, civil, buildings, electrical, manufacturing and chemical), architects, planners, scientists (physicists and chemists), energy experts, social scientists, economists and policy makers. Each issue of Clinical Reviews in Bone and Mineral Metabolism is devoted to a single theme aimed at integrating new information, both basic and clinical science, into the context of clinical practice. For each review article, there is an interval of 6-9 months between invitation to authors and publication. Each issue features guest editors recognized for their own contributions to the field, thereby ensuring that the right colleagues have been invited to review the most current information.
