Internationally recognized, Psychiatry has responded to rapid research advances in psychiatry, psychology, neuroscience, trauma, and psychopathology. Increasingly, studies in these areas are being placed in the context of human development across the lifespan, and the multiple systems that influence individual functioning. This journal provides broadly applicable and effective strategies for dealing with the major unsolved problems in the field.

Psychological Science in the Public Interest (PSPI), published three times per year, is a unique journal featuring comprehensive and compelling reviews of issues that are of direct relevance to the general public. These reviews are written by blue ribbon teams of specialists representing a range of viewpoints, and are intended to assess the current state-of-the-science with regard to the topic.

The Journal of Sports Science and Medicine covers all aspects of sports medicine and sciences the management of sports injuries; all clinical aspects of exercise, health, and sport; exercise physiology and biophysical investigation of sports performance; sport biomechanics; sports nutrition; sports psychology; and medical and scientific support of the sports coach. The JSSM does not accept descriptive studies or data reports.

NCMR publishes fundamental research that focuses on theory and research on negotiation and conflict management across levels, including organizational conflict, interpersonal conflict and inter-group conflict, and across a range of domains including environmental conflict, crisis negotiations, political conflict and cross-cultural conflict, as well as formal and informal third party intervention, including mediation and arbitration.

History of the Human Sciences aims to expand our understanding of the human world through a broad interdisciplinary approach. The journal will bring you critical articles from sociology, psychology, anthropology and politics, and link their interests with those of philosophy, literary criticism, art history, linguistics, psychoanalysis, aesthetics and law.

Corpus Linguistics and Linguistic Theory is a newly founded, peer-reviewed journal publishing high-quality original corpus-based research focusing on theoretically relevant issues in all core areas of linguistic research (phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics), or other recognized topic areas.

Criminal Justice and Behavior (CJB), peer-reviewed and published monthly, promotes scholarly evaluations of assessment, classification, prevention, intervention, and treatment programs to help the correctional professional develop successful programs based on sound and informative theoretical and research foundations.

Published six times per year for the American College Personnel Association.Founded in 1959, the Journal of College Student Development has been the leading source of research about college students and the field of student affairs for over four decades. JCSD is the largest empirical research journal in the field of student affairs and higher education, and is the official journal of the American College Personnel Association.

Rehabilitation Counseling Bulletin (RCB) features articles important to rehabilitation counseling practitioners in counseling, education, or research settings. Each issue includes original empirical research, theoretical essays, comprehensive literature reviews, intensive case studies, research critiques, and media reviews.

A publication of the French Society of Sports Medicine.Science & Sports proposes, on one hand, updates on medical, scientific and applied technical research in the different fields of sports and physical activities (internal medicine, traumatology, psychology, sociology, biomechanics, technology. And, on the other hand, it facilitates the transfer of knowledge and technology between the clinic, research and practice in physical and athletic activity.Articles are published in French or English.

The Canadian Journal of Human Sexuality (CJHS), published since 1992, is the scholarly, peer reviewed journal of the Sex Information and Education Council of Canada (SIECCAN). The journal publishes articles from a variety of disciplines related to the study of human sexuality. The journal prioritizes the publication of scholarship addressing the sexuality and sexual and reproductive health of Canadians. However, articles from other countries are also welcomed.

The Elementary School Journal has served researchers, teacher educators, and practitioners in the elementary and middle school education for more than one hundred years. ESJ publishes peer-reviewed articles that pertain to both education theory and research and their implications for teaching practice. In addition, ESJ presents articles that relate the latest research in child development, cognitive psychology, and sociology to school learning and teaching.

The Psychological Record publishes empirical and conceptual articles related to the field of behavior analysis, behavior science, and behavior theory. The journal welcomes investigations of basic behavioral processes, as well as translational studies that bridge experimental and applied analyses of behavior. Conceptual articles pertinent to the theory and philosophy of behaviorism are also welcome.

Women & Performance: a journal of feminist theory seeks scholarly essays on performance, dance, film, new media, and the performance of everyday life from interdisciplinary feminist perspectives. We encourage dialogues between varied fields of performance scholarship (i.e., performance studies; theatre, dance, and music history and criticism; ethnography; cinema and cultural studies; as well as queer and post-colonial theory), and explore critiques of race, ethnicity, class, sexuality, technology, and nation. The journal is a peer-reviewed, tri-annual publication with forthcoming special issues on topics as diverse as the role of women in the fluxus art movement, women in international politics, and transbiology. We encourage general submissions that foreground themes of gender and performance and proposals for special issues that address topics within feminism and performance studies. NEW SECTION We are pleased to introduce a new section, simply titled '&,' to the regular table of contents of Women & Performance. This section features a wide array of critical engagements that move beyond the invaluable, but nonetheless narrowly conceived, work of the 7,000-word, peer-reviewed, scholarly article. In '&,' you'll find artists' statements, polemics, review essays, performance texts, manifestoes, feminist and queer takes on current events and debates, and other modes of intellectual production that are too wily to conform to the standard model of academic publishing or that perform feminist theory along different lines of flight, at different speeds, in rogue forms. Established in 1969, European Economic Review is one of the oldest general-interest economics journals for all of Europe. It is intended as a primary publication for theoretical and empirical research in all areas of economics. The purpose of the journal is to select articles that will have high relevance and impact in a wide range of topics. All work submitted to the journal should be original in motivation or modeling and be capable of replication.The EER receives about 700 submissions each year and the editors aim to hand down editorial decision in a timely manner. The average turnaround time to first decision is about 90 days, with an approximate acceptance rate of 10%. Arthropod Structure & Development is a Journal of ArthropodStructural Biology, Development, and Functional Morphology; it considers manuscripts that deal with micro- and neuroanatomy, development, biomechanics, organogenesis in particular under comparative and evolutionary aspects but not merely taxonomic papers. The aim of the journal is to publish papers in the areas of functional and comparative anatomy and development, with an emphasis on the role of cellular organization in organ function. The journal will also publish papers on organogenisis, embryonic and postembryonic development, and organ or tissue regeneration and repair. Manuscripts dealing with comparative and evolutionary aspects of microanatomy and development are encouraged. Specifically, the following research areas will be covered:• Integument and effector organs (exoskeleton, muscles and glands).• Sensory structures, peripheral, autonomic and central nervous systems, and neuroendocrine systems.• Circulatory, respiratory, visceral, and excretory organs.• Reproductive systems, organogenesis and repair.• Pattern formation and development.• Comparative microanatomy and morphology of arthropods from the phylogenetic view.A thorough but efficient peer-review system with the assistance of section and advisory editors of world-wide reputation will ensure that published papers will conform to high scientific standards. Composites Part A: Applied Science and Manufacturing publishes original research papers, review articles, case studies, short communications and letters from a wide variety of sources dealing with all aspects of the science and technology of composite materials, including fibrous and particulate reinforcements in polymeric, metallic and ceramic matrices, and 'natural' composites such as wood and biological materials. The range of applicable topics includes the properties, design and manufacture of reinforcing fibers and particles, novel architectures and concepts, multifunctional composites, advances in fabrication and processing of composite materials and structures, manufacturing science, process modelling, experimental mechanics, microstructural characterization of composites and their constituent phases, interfaces in composites, new approaches to prediction and measurement of mechanical, physical and chemical behaviour, and performance of composites in service. Articles are also welcomed on economic and commercial aspects of the applications of composites, design with composites and case studies. All articles are subject to rigorous peer review to ensure they make an important and novel contribution, and a high standard is set for both content and presentation. Comprehensive Reviews in Food Science and Food Safety (CRFSFS) is one of the peer-reviewed on-line journals of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT). It has been published quarterly since 2002 (www.ift.org). Review papers provide in-depth coverage of a narrowly defined topic on any food science or food safety aspect, including nutrition, engineering, microbiology, sensory evaluation, physiology, genetics, economics, regulations, and history. A typical review embodies careful assessment of all pertinent studies (weaknesses, strengths, discrepancies in findings) so that insightful, integrative interpretations, summaries, and conclusions are presented. For either an unsolicited or an invited manuscript authors should submit to the Scientific Editor a suitable title, a brief outline, and a short statement describing the importance of the topic and how the presentation will advance food science and food technology. AIM of IFT Peer-Reviewed Publications The Institute of Food Technologists (IFT), the professional society of food science and technology, is committed to the continued improvement and accessibility of its peer-reviewed journals. Collectively, the IFT believes that peer-reviewed journals must have a high priority in any scientific society, and specifically for IFT in order for the society to remain a credible source of science-based information. Philosophical Papers is an international, generalist journal of philosophy edited in South Africa. Original Articles Articles appearing in the March and July issues are original, high-quality, and stand-alone, and are written for the general professional philosopher. The editor welcomes submissions in any area of philosophy. Re-Readings are usually of 4000-7000 words in length. The editor welcomes submissions of re-readings. Book Reviews Philosophical Papers publishes reviews of books that are of special relevance to African or South African philosophy or philosophers. Authors interested in reviewing books for the journal should approach the editor in the first instance. Peer Review Policy All submitted articles undergo a process of peer review. This is based on initial editor screening and refereeing by (usually) two referees.

The Proceedings of the Geologists' Association is an international geoscience journal that was founded in 1859 and publishes research and review papers on all aspects of Earth Science. In particular, papers will focus on the geology of northwestern Europe and the Mediterranean, including both the onshore and offshore record. Following a long tradition, the PGA will focus on: i) a range of article types (see below) on topics of wide relevance to Earth Sciences ii) papers on aspects of Earth Science that have societal relevance including geoconservation and Earth management, iii) papers on palaeoenvironments and palaeontology of the Mesozoic and Cenozoic, iv) papers on aspects of Quaternary geology and climate change, and v) papers on the history of geology with particular reference to individuals that have shaped the subject. These topics will also steer the content of the themes of the Special Issues that are published in the PGA.Papers published in the PGA will take the form of Research papers and Review papers. In addition it will publish Viewpoints, which are aimed to provide authoritative views from Earth Scientists on topics of debate within our subject, Topical or Teaching Perspectives on subjects of current, or potentially future importance and are not necessarily research papers but are written in a manner that makes them particularly accessible to the general public and students, and Contexts, which are short papers giving the wider scientific context of a paper that is published in the same issue. Submissions of all these types of papers, within the scope and aims of the journal, are welcome.
