Human Movement Science provides a forum for presenting, and bringing together, psychological, neurophysiological and biomechanical/biophysical research on human movement. Animal studies, insofar as their significance to human movement is made clear, are equally acceptable. The nature of the research to be reported may vary from fundamental studies of motor control and learning, including the perceptual support of movement, to more applied studies in the fields of, for example, sport, dance and rehabilitation, with the proviso that also the latter studies have a distinct theoretical bearing.Human Movement Science contains: (a) reports of empirical work on human movement; (b) theoretical (overview) articles on human movement, including its modelling; (c) letters to the editor containing a critical commentary on a published paper. Epigenetics is a multidisciplinary peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research and review articles covering the latest findings about epigenetic mechanisms and their role in diverse biological processes.Our goal is to establish Epigenetics as the lead journal in the field by providing a forum where epigenetic approaches to a variety of medical and biological issues can be discussed and the common basic principles of epigenetics spanning different systems can be revealed and shared.The field of epigenetics studies the changes in gene expression that are caused by mechanisms other than the modification of the DNA sequence. Epigenetics covers many different levels of biological control and relates to diverse biological systems, diseases and disciplines. Although in recent years cancer has been the main focus of epigenetic studies, recent data suggests that epigenetics also plays critical roles in psychology and psychopathology. It is being realized that normal behaviors, such as maternal care, and pathologies, such as Schizophrenia and Alzheimer disease, might have an epigenetic basis. It is also becoming clear that nutrition and life experiences have consequences that are mediated by epigenetic mechanisms. The increasing awareness of the potential role of epigenetic deregulation in disease has spawned the development of diagnostic and therapeutic approaches using epigenetics. Although the questions asked are diverse, the unifying hypothesis is that epigenetics is involved. The journal provides a platform for developing unifying methodologies, hypotheses, experimental approaches and diagnostic agents and serves as a meeting place for researchers working in different systems such as general biology, plant biology, cancer biology, cancer therapeutics, epigenetic pharmacology, neurobiology and psychiatry, who are unraveling the epigenetic facets of their specific fields of interest.

Musicology Australia is the scholarly journal of the Musicological Society of Australia. Since its inception in 1963, the journal has published articles on all aspects of music research, including ethnomusicology and musicology, which marks it out from most other music journals.Today, articles and reviews cover a broad spectrum of music research, including historical musicology, ethnomusicology, popular music, indigenous music practices, jazz, theory and analysis, organology, performance practice, contemporary music and psychology of music. The journal is published twice a year: in July (the regular issue) and December (a special issue). Contributors are not required to write on Australian music or be Australian-based musicologists. Researchers interested in proposing a Special Issue should contact the Editor for further information.Articles should normally be 6000-10,000 words (including footnotes and/or references), though shorter and longer articles will be considered. Scientific efforts in these areas are multidisciplinary, involving the physical, biological, medical, pharmaceutical, biological materials, and engineering fields.Articles concerning this field appear in a wide variety of journals. With the vast increase in the number of articles and the tendency to fragment science, it becomes increasingly diffcult to keep abreast of the literature and to sort out and evaluate the importance and reliability of the data, especially when proprietary considerations are involved. Abstracts and noncritical articles often do not provide a sufficiently reliable basis for proper assessment of a given field without the additional perusal of the original literature. This journal bridges this gap by publishing authoritative, objective, comprehensive multidisciplinary critical review papers with emphasis on formulation and delivery systems. NMR in Biomedicine is a journal devoted to the publication of original full-length papers, rapid communications and review articles describing the development of magnetic resonance spectroscopy or imaging methods or their use to investigate physiological, biochemical, biophysical or medical problems. Topics for submitted papers should be in one of the following general categories: (a) development of methods and instrumentation for MR of biological systems; (b) studies of normal or diseased organs, tissues or cells; (c) diagnosis or treatment of disease. Reports may cover work on patients or healthy human subjects, in vivo animal experiments, studies of isolated organs or cultured cells, analysis of tissue extracts, NMR theory, experimental techniques, or instrumentation. The Journal will not accept any papers that deal solely with body fluids. NMR in Biomedicine will accept for review manuscripts that focus on the use of MRI contrast agents in practical applications, but not those that are primarily concerned with the development, synthesis or ex vivo testing of contrast agents.

Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation publishes letters, papers and review articles describing the results of research and development in the underlying theory, novel techniques and applications of nondestructive testing and evaluation. Articles concerning both the investigation of physical processes and the development of mechanical processes and techniques are welcomed. Studies of conventional techniques, including radiography, ultrasound, eddy currents, magnetic properties and magnetic particle inspection, thermal imaging and dye penetrant, will be considered in addition to more advanced approaches using, for example, lasers, squid magnetometers, interferometers, synchrotron and neutron beams and Compton scattering. IEEE Antennas and Propagation Magazine actively solicits feature articles that describe engineering activities taking place in industry, government, and universities. Non-profit Journal: MIC is operated as a non-profit journal and the journal is to a large extent based on voluntary contributions from the editors and reviewers. Any income generated by the journal from author contributions and sponsors are only meant to cover the costs associated with running the journal. From 2009 the MIC articles are available for free download on the Internet, and MIC loses the income source from subscriptions. To compensate for this loss of income, MIC currently requires an author contribution of NOK 1000 per published article. Each author will receive a complimentary issue of the printed edition of MIC where the article appears. The publication fee will be adjusted annually to balance out the costs of running the journal.Review: Each submitted article will initially be reviewed by the editor and/or the editorial secretary. If the article passes the initial review, it will be reviewed in a second step by the closest discipline editor and two internationally recognised experts in the field. All reviews in MIC are anonymous and the journal strives to avoid any conflict of interest in the review process.

The Journal of the History of the Neurosciences assists the formation of a basis of historical background knowledge complementary to current understanding of the neurosciences. Contributions to the history of development in neurology over recent decades will be of assistance to neurologists working in the field. The Journal will cover all aspects of modern neurology as well as roots of the neurosciences in the more distant past. Where they contain original information or novel comment, historical and biographical accounts of individuals and institutions in the neurosciences will be accepted for publication. The history of ideas, the evolution of society and medicine, and the connection between neurosciences and the discipline of philosophy will also be open for discussion in the Journal.
