Equity & Excellence in Education publishes articles based on scholarly research utilizing qualitative or quantitative methods, as well as essays that describe and assess practical efforts to achieve educational equity and are contextualized within an appropriate literature review. We consider manuscripts on a range of topics related to equity, equality and social justice in K-12 or postsecondary schooling, and that focus upon social justice issues in school systems, individual schools, classrooms, and/or the social justice factors that contribute to inequality in learning for students from diverse social group backgrounds. There have been and will continue to be many social justice efforts to transform educational systems as well as interpersonal interactions at all levels of schooling. Some are successful while others fall short of their goals. This journal provides a record of those important experiments and ventures. The study of culture is the fastest growing area in both European and North American sociology. Political sociology is also re-establishing itself as a central plank of the discipline. The European Journal of Cultural and Political Sociology aims to be a forum not so much for these fields of study considered separately, as for any work seeking to explore the relationship between culture and politics through a sociological lens. It welcomes, thus, both considerations of cultural phenomena in relation to political context, work that situates political phenomena within a cultural framework, and all points between these poles. In so doing it seeks both to address matters of immediate concern and to recover the broad sociological sensibility that was once a staple of the classical tradition.

Food and Foodways is a refereed, interdisciplinary, and international journal devoted to publishing original scholarly articles on the history and culture of human nourishment. By reflecting on the role food plays in human relations, this unique journal explores the powerful but often subtle ways in which food has shaped, and shapes, our lives socially, economically, politically, mentally, nutritionally, and morally. Human Molecular Genetics concentrates on full-length research papers covering a wide range of topics in all aspects of human molecular genetics. These include: * the molecular basis of human genetic disease * developmental genetics * cancer genetics * neurogenetics * chromosome and genome structure and function * therapy of genetic disease * stem cells in human genetic disease and therapy, including the application of iPS cells * genome-wide association studies * mouse and other models of human diseases * functional genomics * computational genomics In addition, the journal also publishes research on other model systems for the analysis of genes, especially when there is an obvious relevance to human genetics.Key features of the journal include: * Articles - comprehensive reports and definitive research findings of interest to a broad audience of human molecular geneticists. The Journal of Research on Christian Education (JRCE) provides a vehicle for the scholarly interchange of research findings relative to every level of Christian education. Particular emphasis is given to Christian schooling within the Protestant tradition as well as to research findings from other traditions which have implications for such schools. Published since 1974, Media Asia is a scholarly journal that shares research-based findings and critical insights addressing contemporary media issues and communication challenges in Asia. The journal welcomes articles in either the social scientific or humanistic tradition and in any disciplinary orientation. Research articles are double-blind reviewed. In addition to publishing completed research, Media Asia also includes essays and opinion pieces for academics and practitioners to share ideas and help shape the agenda for communication scholarship, practice and policy.

Media Asia is a journal of the  Asian Media Information and Communication Centre (AMIC). It is housed editorially at Hong Kong Baptist University’s Centre for Media and Communication Research.

AMIC is a non-profit membership organisation established in 1971. Registered in Singapore, AMIC currently operates out of Manila, through the Philippines Women’s University and the Asian Institute of Journalism and Communication consortium.

Expanded Routledge Psychoanalysis Coverage in PEP Launched in 1991, Psychoanalytic Dialogues was founded on the premise that within the diverse world of psychoanalysis there had developed a set of overlapping perspectives that regarded relational configurations of self and others, real and fantasied, as the primary units of human motivation and psychodynamic explanation. These perspectives emerged within interpersonal psychoanalysis; British objct relations theories; self psychology; the empirical traditions of infancy research and child development; and certain currents of contemporary Freudian thought. This common relational model has come to provide a vitalizing framework within which clinical contributions can be situated and developed. Psychoanalytic Dialogues is dedicated to facilitating debate among theoreticians and clinicians working within this array of relational perspectives. Now published bimonthly, it continues to explore common ground; to clarify differences; and to raise the level of debate within the analytic community above slogans and formulas--all in the interest of enhancing our understanding of the intricate richness of the psychoanalytic process.
