The mission of the Tzu Chi Medical Journal is to provide practical, timely, and relevant clinical and basic science information to physicians and researchers practicing in Taiwan and worldwide, in the form of original articles of clinical and basic science research, review articles and interesting case reports. Scientific articles of any scope that can improve diagnosis and treatment in clinical medicine and advance basic research, and special features for continuing medical education, are included in this journal. The journal is published quarterly, in March, June, September and December, by Elsevier.

Ultrasound International Open (UIO) is an Open Access journal in the field of interdisciplinary ultrasound in medicine and biology. It publishes original contributions reporting on new developments from a variety of disciplines on the diagnostic and therapeutic applications of ultrasound, with an emphasis on clinical applications. Technical papers with a physiological theme as well as the interaction between ultrasound and biological systems are also considered for publication. UIO publishes original and review articles as well as rapid communications, contributions on technical developments, case reports, pictorial essays and letters to the editor. Submission and additional publication of video material is welcome.

Urban Geography publishes original papers on problem-oriented current research by geographers and other social scientists on urban policy; race, poverty, and ethnicity in the city; international differences in urban form and function; historical preservation; the urban housing market; and provision of services and urban economic activity. Included in most issues are review papers and special features (published since 1980).

Veterinary Radiology & Ultrasound is a bi-monthly, international journal that maintains the highest feasible standard for publication of matters pertaining to veterinary imaging and allied disciplines, sustaining its recognition as an established refereed journal and serving as a source of continuing education. Published papers include results of original investigation, clinical reports, case-history reports, and review articles.

The »Literaturwissenschaftliches Jahrbuch« (Yearbook of Literary Studies) was founded in 1926 by Günther Müller with the aim to publish both research and literary texts. The Jahrbuch was banned by the Nazis in 1939 and re-founded by the German scholar Hermann Kunisch in 1960; the new series has now grown to more than 50 volumes. The trans-disciplinary journal publishes articles on German, English and American literature, as well as literature in the Romance languages. Articles may be written in German or the languages of the respective fields. Each volume also comprises a substantial review section. Early career scholars are encouraged to submit their manuscripts.

Frontiers in Life Science publishes high quality, innovative research at the frontier of biology with an emphasis on interdisciplinary research at the interface between the life sciences and the more quantitative sciences. Applied Vegetation Science is administratively linked to the Journal of Vegetation Science. It accepts original papers (including shorter ones), reviews, forum contributions and reports. It commissions reviews of selected books. Applied fields covered by the journal include human impact on vegetation, particularly eutrophication and global change, nature conservation, nature management, restoration of plant communities and habitats of threatened plant species, and the planning of semi-natural and urban landscapes. In addition it publishes book reviews and notices of scientific meetings.

The Australasian Journal of Environmental Management is published four times a year (March, June, September and December) and addresses general issues of policy and practice in resource and environmental management. The focus is on Australian and New Zealand practice, but articles covering relevant international perspectives are welcome. One of the four regular issues may be devoted to a specific theme, for example a particular management problem or resource sector investigation. Emphasis will be on topicality. The journal aims to enhance communication and understanding across many areas of resource and environmental management, and so contribute to improving environmental practice.

Grass and Forage Science has subscribers in nearly 70 countries. It is a major English language journal that publishes the results of research and development in all aspects of grass and forage production, management and utilization; reviews of the state of knowledge on relevant topics; and book reviews. Authors are also invited to submit papers on non-agricultural aspects of grassland management such as recreational and amenity use and the environmental implications of all grassland systems. The Journal considers papers from all climatic zones.

IJGW aims to bring all disciplines together for local/global solutions to combat global warming and its consequences. It also address issues related to global changes as a direct/indirect result of climate modification and strategies for adaptation to such changes. Journal of Chinese Political Science (JCPS) is a refereed academic journal that publishes theoretical, policy, and empirical research articles on Chinese politics across the whole spectrum of political science, with emphasis on Chinese domestic politics and foreign policy in comparative perspectives. However, JCPS also welcomes manuscripts on different aspects of contemporary China when these relate closely to Chinese politics, political economy, political culture, reform and opening, development, the military, law and legal system, foreign relations, and other important issues of political significance.

The peer-reviewed Journal of Religion in Europe (JRE) provides a forum for multi-disciplinary research into the complex dynamics of religious discourses and practices in Europe, both historical and contemporary. The journal’s underlying idea is that religion in Europe is characterized by a variety of pluralisms. There is a pluralism of religious communities that actively engage with one another. Additionally, there is a pluralism of societal systems, such as nations, law, politics, economy, science, and art, all of which interact with religious systems. There is also a pluralism of scholarly discourses, including religious studies, legal studies, history, anthropology, sociology, philosophy, and psychology, that are addressing the religious dynamics involved. JRE encourages new research that responds to the changing European dimension of social and cultural studies regarding these pluralisms. .

The primary focus of the Policy Studies Journal (PSJ) is the study of public policy. Published on behalf of the Policy Studies Organization and the American Political Science Association's Public Policy Section, PSJ publishes individually-submitted articles and symposia of exceptional quality by social scientists and other public policy researchers and leaders. The journal addresses a wide range of public policy issues at all levels of government, and welcomes a comparative approach. We accept a variety of manuscript types.

South East Asia Research publishes articles based on original research or fieldwork on all aspects of South East Asia within the disciplines of archaeology, art history, economics, geography, history, language and literature, law, music, political science, social anthropology and religious studies. This peer-reviewed journal is published four times per year by IP Publishing in cooperation with the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS). Taxonomically, aquatic insects are a heterogeneous assemblage, comprising several orders which have evolved in aquatic habitats. Further, the bugs, beetles and flies each include many large families present only in aquatic habitats. In fact, almost every insect order has at least a few aquatic representatives. The shared habitat unifying the different groups of aquatic insects brings the journal into close contact with the field of limnology. In all kinds of freshwater environments, aquatic insects are usually the largest single group of organisms, by species as well as specimen numbers, and are of paramount importance to the community structure and function. Since a large number of aquatic insect species are ecological indicators, articles in this entomological journal are also of direct relevance to all students of aquatic ecosystems.
