The Australian Accounting Review (AAR) is the pre-eminent, peer-reviewed journal published four times a year on behalf of CPA Australia. AAR is positioned at the intersection of business and academe and features articles by leading practitioners and researchers. It aims to provide in-depth discussion and critical analysis of developments affecting professionals in all areas of finance, accounting and business. Articles published in Australian Accounting Review should be relevant to the journal's primary readership: the Australasian and international academic, professional, business, government and regulatory communities. Review articles on issues relevant to AAR's primary readership are also favourably received. Motivation for articles should be located in current events/problems that affect the business and professional communities, and in the literature. Articles must display a high level of critical analysis, employ an appropriate research approach, provide empirical evidence to support conclusions, and establish the local and international significance of their findings. Replications of international studies that simply apply an accepted methodology to a data set in a different context are not acceptable unless the broad implications of conclusions are articulated, and are of relevance to a wider set of circumstances. Data that purport to be contemporary need to be so. Papers must be scholarly and have the authority of academic rigour yet be accessible to non-academic readers. Papers are subject to a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality of their underlying research methodology and argument.

The central purpose of Continental Philosophy Review is to foster a living dialogue within the international community on philosophical issues of mutual interest. It seeks to elicit, discussions of fundamental philosophical problems and original approaches to them. Broadly encompassing in its focus, the journal invites essays on both expressly theoretical topics and topics dealing with practical problems that extend to the wider domain of socio-political life. It encourages explorations in the domains of art, morality, science and religion as they relate to specific philosophical concerns. Although not an advocate of any one trend or school in philosophy, the journal is especially committed to keeping abreast of developments within phenomenology and contemporary continental philosophy and is interested in investigations that probe possible points of intersection between the continental European and the Anglo-American traditions.Continental Philosophy Review contains review articles of recent, original works in philosophy. It provides considerable space for such reviews, allowing critics to develop their comments and assessments at some length.

The International Review on Public and Nonprofit Marketing, an international scientific journal, publishes English-language articles and case reports in the field of public and nonprofit marketing and closely related disciplines. Relevant doctoral thesis reviews and book reviews are also welcome.The main objective of the Review is to foster the study of marketing topics from an interdisciplinary perspective and provide a forum for researchers interested in examining these issues from practical and theoretical viewpoints. The Review of International Political Economy (RIPE) has successfully established itself as a leading international journal dedicated to the systematic exploration of the international political economy from a plurality of perspectives. The journal encourages a global and interdisciplinary approach across issues and fields of inquiry. It seeks to act as a point of convergence for political economists, international relations scholars, geographers, and sociologists, and is committed to the publication of work that explores such issues as international trade and finance, production and consumption, and global governance and regulation, in conjunction with issues of culture, identity, gender, and ecology. Review of Managerial Science (RMS) provides a forum for innovative research from all scientific areas of business administration. The journal publishes original research of high quality and is open to various methodological approaches (analytical modeling, empirical research, experimental work, methodological reasoning etc.). The scope of RMS encompasses – but is not limited to – accounting, auditing, banking, business strategy, corporate governance, entrepreneurship, financial structure and capital markets, health economics, human resources management, information systems, innovation management, insurance, marketing, organization, production and logistics, risk management and taxation. RMS also encourages the submission of papers combining ideas and/or approaches from different areas in an innovative way. Review papers presenting the state of the art of a research area and pointing out new directions for further research are also welcome. The scientific standards of RMS are guaranteed by a rigorous, double-blind peer review process with ad hoc referees and the journal´s internationally composed editorial board.

The SIAM Review consists of five sections, all containing articles of broad interest. Survey and Review features papers with a deliberately integrative and up-to-date perspective on a major topic in applied or computational mathematics or scientific computing. Expository Research Papers contains research papers in applied mathematics and scientific computation that have appeal to a broad audience and feature a high quality of exposition. SIGEST highlights a recent paper from one of SIAM's eleven specialized research journals, chosen on the basis of exceptional interest to the entire SIAM community and revised and condensed as needed for greater accessibility. Education consists primarily of individual modules that are self-contained presentations of specific topics in applied mathematics, scientific computation, or their applications; each module provides the primary material needed to teach a given topic as well as supplementary material. The Book Reviews section contains a featured review that provides an overview of several books in a subject area. Shorter reviews of individual books are also included.

The Economic History Review is published quarterly and each volume contains over 800 pages. It is an invaluable source of information and is available free to members of the Economic History Society. Publishing reviews of books, periodicals and information technology, The Review will keep anyone interested in economic and social history abreast of current developments in the subject. It aims at broad coverage of themes of economic and social change, including the intellectual, political and cultural implications of these changes. Many issues contain an essay under the heading Surveys and Speculations which discusses a particular problem in economic and social history in an adventurous way. The extensive book review section in each issue provides a guide to the latest literature on economic and social history in the British Isles and throughout the rest of the world. Each volume also contains Essays in Bibliography and Criticism which are designed to bring readers up to date with the latest writings on a particular country and topical themes in economic and social history.

Article types:

a) Minireview: A typically 10-15 pages contribution, where approximately half of the material is in form of representative mini-review of the entire subtopic/subfield, followed by, approximately of the same length, a short review of own past and present work, coherently summarized and explained in the broader context of the first part.

b) Tutorial Review: A 15+ pages tutorial review (lecture) on a broader topic that adds significantly more introductory and background material to make this reasonably self-contained reading f

The Review of International Organizations publishes original scientific contributions analyzing the operations and policies of agencies such as the International Monetary Fund, the World Trade Organization, the Group of 7, the World Bank, NATO, the World Health Organization, the European Court of Human Rights, the UN, and similar institutions. Its focus extends to governmental organizations, as well as international non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Beyond formal organizations, the Review presents papers on softer institutions and networks of international cooperation, including APEC, the Global Development Network, and the International Competition Forum. The journal offers studies based on modern economic, political economic, and international relations theories, using quantitative or qualitative methods. Compare publishes such research as it relates to educational development and change in different parts of the world.
