Materials Chemistry Frontiers is devoted to the publication of original contributions at the interface of chemistry and materials science, with topics spanning but not limited to energy materials, catalysis, biomaterials, nanoscience, polymers, luminescent materials, and sensors. The journal places an emphasis on original research that demonstrates conceptual advancements with emerging applications, rather than primarily reporting technological improvements. Together with Organic Chemistry Frontiers and Inorganic Chemistry Frontiers, this suite of journals offers an authoritative portfolio that is jointly owned by the Chinese Chemical Society, the Royal Society of Chemistry, and partner institutions.

Polis is a refereed journal which was founded in 1977 to provide a forum for scholars specializing in Ancient Greek Political Thought. Originally the Newsletter of the Society for Greek Political Thought (UK), Polis has over the years evolved into a full-fledged academic journal that publishes material of interest to those who study ancient Greek political thought, whether they do so as classicists, ancient historians, philosophers, or political scientists . Polis maintains ties with the Society for Greek Political Thought and with its membership, but the journal welcomes submissions for peer-review from scholars with no affiliation to the Society .“Political thought” is not defined narrowly as political philosophy but to cover political thinking at all levels, and thus the study of political institutions and practices, history, and literature are all included. Polis also publishes articles on the reception of ancient political thought in Europe, America, or elsewhere.The journal speaks for no particular perspective or methodology and it is devoted to the publication of research papers, even though extensive literature reviews and critiques of contemporary research, review essays and book reviews are also included.Polis appears in two issues per annual volume (spring and fall). .

Formerly Performing Arts Journal, through volume 19, no. 3, September 1997 (E-ISSN: 1086-3281, Print ISSN: 0735-8393). Under continuous editorship since its founding in 1976, PAJ has been an influential voice in the arts for twenty-six years. Now in an updated format and design, PAJ offers extended coverage of the visual arts (such as video, installations, photography, and multimedia performance), in addition to reviews of new works in theatre, dance, film, and opera. Issues include artists' writings, essays, interviews and dialogues, historical documentation, performance texts and plays, reports on performance abroad, and book reviews.

The Seventeenth Century is established as the leading forum for interdisciplinary approaches to the period, and complements these with stimulating specialist studies on a wide range of subjects. There is a general preference for articles embodying original research.All contributions should be accessible to scholars who are not specialists in the field concerned. Subjects covered include literature, political and economic history, social history, theology, philosophy, colonial history, natural sciences, music, and the visual arts. There is a section of book reviews in each issue. From time to time special issues will be devoted to one theme or topic, although the journal normally aims for a broad spread of interest.

Contemporary British History offers innovative new research on any aspect of British history - foreign, Commonwealth, political, social, cultural or economic - dealing with the period since the First World War. The editors welcome work which involves cross-disciplinary insights, as the journal seeks to reflect the work of all those interested in the recent past in Britain, whatever their subject specialism. Work which places contemporary Britain within a comparative (whether historical or international) context is also encouraged.
