The Journal of Language and Pop Culture (JLPop) provides the prime outlet for the growing amount of research in pop cultural linguistics, the study of language use in pop culture data. Pop culture here is conceptualized in a broad sense to include artifacts with a commercial, entertainment-based purpose that are mediated and represent largely fictional, scripted/performed content. This includes pop music, television, comics and cartoons, video games, social media, as well as other forms of entertainment and trends that are widely accessible in mainstream society.

The journal is open to contributions from all linguistic subfields that engage with pop culture and performed language, including sociolinguistics, pragmatics, stylistics, corpus linguistics, conversation analysis, (critical) discourse analysis, media linguistics, and applied linguistics/language education. Multimodal and interdisciplinary approaches are especially encouraged and, while English is typically seen as the primary language of pop culture, studies are invited on all languages.

JLPop also produces special issues and publishes its articles Online First.

This journal provides a forum for the scholarly investigation, analysis, and dialogue on communication symbols, forms, phenomena, and strategic systems of symbols within the context of contemporary popular culture. Popular Communication publishes articles on all aspects of popular communication texts, artifacts, audiences, events, and practices, including the Internet, youth culture, representation, fandom, film, sports, spectacles, the digital revolution, sexuality, advertising/consumer culture, television, radio, music, magazines, and dance. The Annals of Occupational Hygiene is one of the world's top research journals on hazards and risks to health resulting from work. The journal is particularly interested in recognition, quantification, management, communication, and control of risk. It includes papers on basic mechanisms, human aspects and technology, and on environmental risks to humans when these are linked to risks at work.Topics covered include: * chemical, physical and biological agents * measurement and control * process design * ergonomics * protection * occupational toxicology * epidemiology * assessment and management of risk * education and training There is heavy pressure on space in the journal. We do not normally consider the following types of paper: reports of health effects without corresponding information on causative agents and exposure, unless the effects are unexpected and likely to be of wide interest, or papers on infection control unless the problems are primarily occupational.The journal has a very wide geographical spread, with about 60% of our papers coming from continental Europe or North America. The median time to conduct peer review and give the authors a first decision is less than 7 weeks. Papers are usually published on-line less than 6 weeks after acceptance.The Annals of Occupational Hygiene is published by Oxford University Press for the British Occupational Hygiene Society.

Austral Ecology is the premier journal for basic and applied ecology in the Southern Hemisphere. As the official Journal of The Ecological Society of Australia (ESA), Austral Ecology addresses the commonality between ecosystems in Australia and many parts of southern Africa, South America, New Zealand and Oceania. For example many species in the unique biotas of these regions share common Gondwana ancestors. The Irish Journal of Psychology is the academic journal of The Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI). The Irish Journal of Psychology is a peer reviewed journal that publishes articles concerned with issues of relevance to practitioners, researchers and academics in all areas of psychology. JAMA Otolaryngology—Head & Neck Surgery (formerly Archives of Otolaryngology—Head & Neck Surgery) is a peer-reviewed medical journal that provides timely information for physicians and scientists concerned with diseases of the head and neck. The journal first began publication as Archives of Otolaryngology in 1925. JAMA Otolaryngology—Head & Neck Surgery is the official publication for the American Head and Neck Society and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Inc, and is a member of The JAMA Network family of journals, which includes JAMA and 11 specialty journals.

JAMA Otolaryngology—Head & Neck Surgery is published online weekly, every Thursday, and in 12 print/online issues a year. Without any author fees, all research articles are made free access online 12 months after publication on the JAMA website. All articles are made free access on an html app called The JAMA Network Reader on the day of publication. Purpose and scope:The mission of the American Society of Animal Science (ASAS) is to foster communication and collaboration among individuals and organizations associated with animal science research, education, industry, or administration. ±To discover, disseminate and apply knowledge for sustainable use of animals for food and other human needs.± The Journal of Animal Science, which is published monthly by ASAS, accepts manuscripts presenting information for publication with this mission in mind. Articles published in JAS encompass a broad range of research topics in animal production and fundamental aspects of genetics, nutrition, physiology, and preparation and utilization of animal products. Palestine Exploration Quarterly (PEQ) is the peer-reviewed journal of the Palestine Exploration Fund, which was established in 1865 as the first scholarly society dedicated to the scientific study of what was then generally known as the Holy Land. In 1869, the Fund through its Palestine Exploration Fund Quarterly Statement aimed to illuminate the Bible for its readers with scholarly information about the land of the Bible.PEQ is the Statement's successor and while it remains true to its original brief, it has greatly widened its scope. In spite of its historical title, PEQ is concerned not just with Palestine/the land of Israel, but with the wider region of the Levant - its history, archaeology (including biblical aspects), art, languages, natural and earth ethnology, geography and natural and earth sciences. Its contents include studies of pottery and other artefacts, examination and interpretation of archaeological sites, publications and studies of inscriptions and ancient texts, articles on the history of the Levant, and the publication of archives relating to the exploration of the Levant, together with reports on archaeological work supported by the Fund, and reviews of books. IJPA is an international, research-driven, peer-reviewed, publication aimed at exploring the latest developments in public administration and management 8211; translating theory for practice and practice into theory. Our aim is to be truly global in scope, covering developed, emerging and transitional states and all areas of public activity. We welcome both individual country-based and especially comparative work. Our target audience is not just scholars, but also policy-makers and practitioners, including aspiring public sector leaders engaged in education and research in the growing global MPA community. We want to draw on the latest research 8211; whether carried out by scholars or practitioners or indeed collaborations. We aim 8211; and encourage 8211; the reporting of this research to be as clear and accessible as possible to the widest possible audience, whilst maintaining the necessary rigour and scholarly standards.
