International Review of Sport and Exercise Psychology is the first scholarly, peer-reviewed journal that publishes critical reviews of research literature in sport and exercise psychology. Typically, these reviews evaluate relevant conceptual and methodological issues in the field and provide a critique of the strengths and weaknesses of empirical studies that address common themes or hypotheses. The reviews present summaries of, and conclusions about, the current state of knowledge concerning topics of interest, as well as assessments of relevant unresolved issues and future trends. Reviews of research literature on theories, topics and issues that are at the interface with mainstream psychology are especially welcome.Submissions:Although research on sport and exercise psychology is expanding rapidly, it is difficult to locate comprehensive, authoritative and up-to-date literature reviews in this field. In an attempt to fill this major gap, International Review of Sport and Exercise Psychology (IRSEP) welcomes submissions containing substantial (up to 8,000 words in length) critical and integrative reviews of the research literature in sport and exercise psychology. Ideally, such scholarly papers should summarise the current state of knowledge about a given topic or question, provide critical assessments of the strengths and weaknesses of previous studies in the field, evaluate relevant conceptual and methodological issues, identify emerging trends in the literature and outline potentially fruitful avenues for further research. Manuscripts that contain reviews of research literature on theories, topics and issues at the interface with mainstream psychological science are especially appropriate for the journal. Allison Peers, the Bulletin of Spanish Studies is a learned review dedicated to research into the languages, literatures, histories and civilizations of Spain, Portugal and Latin America. Also known as the Bulletin of Hispanic Studies (19498211;2001), the Bulletin of Spanish Studies soon established an international reputation, and is now recognised world wide as one of the front-ranking journals in the field of Hispanic scholarship.The Bulletin's editors have included E. Allison Peers, founder-editor, Albert Sloman, Geoffrey Ribbans, Harold Hall, Dorothy S. Severin, Ann L. Mackenzie, C. A. Longhurst, James Whiston and Jeremy Robbins. An international committee of Hispanists, set up in 1949, has functioned continuously since that date to advise the Editors of the Bulletin. Social work as an academic discipline was reintroduced to universities in the Chinese mainland in the 1980s. The number of universities offering social work programs has increased drastically in the past two decades. Social services provided by government organizations and NGOs have also proliferated as a response to rising social problems and needs. China Journal of Social Work (CJSW) is the first academic English journal jointly edited from Hong Kong and mainland China, to focus on social work development taking place in China. Journal of Natural Resources Policy Research publishes original policy-oriented papers addressing a broad range of natural resource fields including water, minerals, energy, fisheries, and forestry in a synthesizing fashion, rather than as stand-alone specialty areas. It will also publish papers on the natural resource implications of climate change, natural disasters, and biodiversity loss, among others. The papers, ideally, will be based on both conceptual and empirical studies and will be primarily policy-focused. Our goal is to foster productive dialog among the disparate sectors in the broad field of natural resources and among various social science perspectives leading to an improved understanding of institutional and economic dynamics and informed policy making.This is a largely social-sciences-focused journal including such fields as economics, sociology, geography, political science, anthropology, public administration, ethics and other disciplines relevant to the crafting of efficient, equitable and sustainable natural resources policies. Also, disciplines that may be conventionally outside the social sciences field, such as planning, management and law, which have relevance to natural resources policy formulation, will be included. Natural and physical scientists writing for a social science audience are also welcome contributors.
