The Journal of Defense Modeling and Simulation: Applications, Methodology, Technology (JDMS) is a journal devoted to advancing the practice, science, and art of modeling and simulation as it relates to the military and defense. Topics include: warfighting, training, test and evaluation, command and control, aerospace, peacekeeping, non-traditional missions, and homeland security, simulation design techniques, and federation construction process, simulation techniques, synthetic natural environment modeling, multi-resolution techniques, and High Level Architecture.

The Journal presents original, peer-reviewed articles on conditions of the chest, heart, lungs, and great vessels where surgical intervention is indicated. An official publication of The American Association for Thoracic Surgery and The Western Thoracic Surgical Association, the Journal focuses on techniques and developments in cardiac surgery, pacemaker insertion/removal, lung and esophageal surgeries, heart and lung transplantation, and other procedures.

'Tumor Biology' is the Official Journal of the International Society of Oncology and BioMarkers (ISOBM), an international journal publishing original research, mini-reviews and research commentaries on experimental and clinical cancer research. The Journal places special emphasis on articles covering all aspects of tumor markers and tumor targeting, but studies in other areas of clinical and translational cancer research are considered. The Editors also welcome proposals for 'Mini-Reviews' and 'Research Commentaries'. Manuscript categories include Editorials, Research Articles, Reviews, Research Commentaries, and Workshop Reports.

As of January 1999, The journal Electroencephalography and Clinical Neurophysiology, and its two sections Electromyography and Motor Control and Evoked Potentials have amalgamated to become this journal - Clinical Neurophysiology.Clinical Neurophysiology is the official journal of the International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology, the Brazilian Society of Clinical Neurophysiology, the Czech Society of Clinical Neurophysiology, the Italian Clinical Neurophysiology Society and the International Society of Intraoperative Neurophysiology.The journal is dedicated to fostering research and disseminating information on all aspects of both normal and abnormal functioning of the nervous system. The key aim of the publication is to disseminate scholarly reports on the pathophysiology underlying diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system of human patients. Clinical trials that use neurophysiological measures to document change are encouraged, as are manuscripts reporting data on integrated neuroimaging of central nervous function including, but not limited to, functional MRI, MEG, EEG, PET and other neuroimaging modalities.The Journal has special emphases on epilepsy and on studies of cognitive function and cognitive disorders. Motor neurone and neuromuscular diseases, vestibular disorders, motor control and somatosensory physiopathology are also covered by the Journal. Communication Reports (CR), published biannually since 1988, is one of two scholarly journals of the Western States Communication Association (WSCA). The journal publishes original manuscripts that are short, data/text-based, and related to the broadly defined field of human communication. The mission of the journal is to showcase exemplary scholarship without censorship based on topics, methods, or analytical tools. Articles that are purely speculative or theoretical, and not data analytic, are not appropriate for this journal. Published quarterly, CRANIO: The Journal of Craniomandibular & Sleep Practice is the oldest and largest journal in the world devoted to temporomandibular disorders, and now also includes articles on all aspects of sleep medicine. The Journal is multidisciplinary in its scope, with editorial board members from all areas of medicine and dentistry, including general dentists, oral surgeons, orthopaedists, radiologists, chiropractors, professors and behavioural scientists, physical therapists, acupuncturists, osteopathic and ear, nose and throat physicians.

CRANIO publishes commendable works from outstanding researchers and clinicians in their respective fields. Journal of Children and Media is an interdisciplinary and multi-method peer-reviewed publication that provides a space for discussion by scholars and professionals from around the world and across theoretical and empirical traditions who are engaged in the study of media in the lives of children and adolescents. It is a unique intellectual forum for the exchange of information about all forms and contents of media in regards to all aspects of children’s lives, and especially in three complementary realms: Children as consumers of media, representations of children in the media, and media organizations and productions for children as well as by them. It is committed to the facilitation of international dialogue among researchers and professionals, through discussion of interaction between children and media in local, national, and global contexts; concern for diversity issues; a critical and empirical inquiry informed by a variety of theoretical and empirical approaches; and dedication to ensuring the social relevance of the academic knowledge it produces to the cultural, political, and personal welfare of children around the world.

The Journal of Earthquake Engineering is a publication of peer-reviewed papers on research and development in analytical, experimental and field studies of earthquakes from an engineering seismology as well as a structural engineering viewpoint. The Journal combines the three most important ingredients for a successful technical publication; the highest possible technical quality, speed of publication and competitive subscription rates. The Historical Journal of Film, Radio and Television is an interdisciplinary journal concerned with the evidence produced by the mass media for historians and social scientists, and with the impact of mass communications on the political and social history of the twentieth century.The needs of those engaged in research and teaching are served by scholarly articles, book reviews and by archival reports concerned with the preservation and availability of records. Molecular Plant is a recently founded international journal that publishes significant findings in plant biology, focusing broadly on cellular biology, physiology, molecular biology, genetics, development, and evolution.The journal features a strong international editorial board and is set to become a top-tier journal in the field, using rigorous review to limit the journal to papers that provide novel insights of high impact. The editors particularly encourage submissions of original research that is highly novel but not necessarily fully-developed. Contributions may comprise Research Articles, Review Articles, Methods, Editorials, and Commentaries.To set the standard for its future, most of the papers published in Molecular Plant's first two years were commissioned by editorial members and published in Special Issues on particularly exciting and important topics in current plant biology. Now that the journal's standard has been established, Molecular Plant now receives large numbers of high-quality unsolicited submissions, which have been published under the heading 'Topics of General Interest' since May 2009.The journal is steadily increasing the proportion of regular submissions published. Plant biology authors are strongly encouraged to submit their best work to the journal. Every effort is made to ensure papers are fully reviewed within four weeks and that all accepted papers are published online in their final format within four weeks of arrival of the finished manuscript at the publisher.Assessment by the China Association for Science and Technology of ‘top journals in China’ (in 2010) rated Molecular Plant one of seven A-class journals. .

The Journal of Mathematical Sociology is published in association with the International Network for Social Network Analysis, the Japanese Association for Mathematical Sociology, the Mathematical Sociology Section of the American Sociological Association, the Methodology Section of the American Sociological Association, and with the generous support of the UCLA Division of Social Sciences . The Journal of Mathematical Sociology publishes articles in all areas of mathematical sociology. The Journal of Mathematical Sociology also welcomes papers of mutual interest to social scientists and other social and behavioral scientists, as well as papers by non-social scientists that may encourage fruitful connections between sociology and other disciplines. Reviews of new or developing areas of mathematics and mathematical modeling that may have significant applications in sociology will also be considered. Because Journal of Mathematical Sociology is addressed primarily to sociologists it is anticipated that most articles will be oriented toward a mathematical understanding of emergent complex social structures rather than to an analysis of individual behavior.
