The Journal of the Heart Valve Society (JHVS) is an international, peer-reviewed journal publishing high-quality, original research and innovations on the etiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of heart valve disease. This is the only journal fully dedicated to heart valve disease. JHVS is published by SAGE and owned by the Heart Valve Society.

Ubiquity Proceedings is a low-cost, 100% open access proceedings journal, publishing the output from conferences within all disciplines. The focus of the journal is to provide a platform for conference organisers to easily publish and disseminate the content of their conferences on a professional and fully index journal platform in an affordable manner. The journal is not subject specific and will consider applications from conferences of all disciplines.

African Journal of Ecology (formerly East African Wildlife Journal) publishes original scientific research into the ecology and conservation of the animals and plants of Africa. It has a wide circulation both within and outside Africa and is the foremost research journal on the ecology of the continent. In addition to original articles, the Journal publishes comprehensive reviews on topical subjects and brief communications of preliminary results. The Journal is the official scientific periodical of the EAWLS.

Japanese Journal of Radiology is a peer-reviewed journal, officially published by the Japan Radiological Society. The main purpose of the journal is to provide a forum for the publication of papers documenting recent advances and new developments in the field of radiology in medicine and biology. Journal of Otology is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes research findings from disciplines related to both clinical and basic science aspects of auditory and vestibular system and diseases of the ear. The Journal of Plant Biology, an official publication of the Korean Society of Plant Biologists, is an international journal devoted to basic researches in biochemistry, cellular biology, development, ecology, genetics, molecular biology, physiology, and systematics of plants.The Journal publishes original articles, reviews and brief communications detailing significant research contributions to plant science.Celebrating its 50th year of publication in 2007, the Journal of Plant Biology first appeared in 1958, and was published until 1994 under the title Korean Journal of Botany.
  

The Journal of Ultrasound is the official journal of the Italian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (SIUMB). The journal publishes original contributions (research and review articles, case reports, technical reports and letters to the editor) on significant advances in clinical diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic applications, clinical techniques, the physics, engineering and technology of ultrasound in medicine and biology, and in cross-sectional diagnostic imaging. The Asian Journal of Control, an ACA (Asian Control Association) and CACS (Chinese Automatic Control Society) affiliated journal, is the first international journal originating from the Asia Pacific region. The American Journal of Human Biology is the Official Journal of the Human Biology Association. The American Journal of Human Biology is a bimonthly, peer-reviewed, internationally circulated journal that publishes reports of original research, theoretical articles and timely reviews, and brief communications in the interdisciplinary field of human biology. As the official journal of the Human Biology Association, the Journal also publishes abstracts of research presented at its annual scientific meeting and book reviews relevant to the field. The Journal seeks scholarly manuscripts that address all aspects of human biology, health, and disease, particularly those that stress comparative, developmental, ecological, or evolutionary perspectives. The transdisciplinary areas covered in the Journal include, but are not limited to, epidemiology, genetic variation, population biology and demography, physiology, anatomy, nutrition, growth and aging, physical performance, physical activity and fitness, ecology, and evolution, along with their interactions. The Justice System Journal is an interdisciplinary journal that publishes original research articles on all aspects of law, courts, court administration, judicial behavior, and the impact of all of these on public and social policy. Open as to methodological approaches, the Justice System Journal aims to use the latest in advanced social science research and analysis to bridge the gap between practicing and academic law, courts and politics communities.

The Justice System Journal invites submission of original articles and research notes that are likely to be of interest to scholars and practitioners in the field of law, courts, and judicial administration, broadly defined. Articles may draw on a variety of research approaches in the social sciences. The journal does not publish articles devoted to extended analysis of legal doctrine such as a law review might publish, although short manuscripts analyzing cases or legal issues are welcome and will be considered for the Legal Notes section. The Justice System Journal was created by the National Center for State Courts located in Williamsburg, Virginia, and it has been published under the auspices of that organization since 1976.

The Justice System Journal features peer-reviewed research articles as well as reviews of important books in law and courts, and analytical research notes on some of the leading cases from state and federal courts. The journal periodically produces special issues that provide analysis of fundamental and timely issues on law and courts from both national and international perspectives.
