The journal Bioprocess and Biosystems Engineering is an international peer-reviewed forum for discussion between engineering and biological science to find efficient solutions in the development and improvement of bioprocesses. The journal focuses attention on multidisciplinary approaches for integrative bioprocess design. Coverage includes rational manipulation of biosystems through metabolic engineering techniques to provide new biocatalysts. The journal examines model-based design of bioprocesses, such as up-stream processing, bioreactor operation and downstream processing, leading to new and sustainable production processes. The journal offers new approaches for design of cellular systems, taking into account the environment and constraints of technical production processes, integration of recombinant technology and process design, as well as bioinformatics and process systems engineering. The journal publishes original papers, short communications and invited reviews.

The Brazilian Journal of Microbiology is an international peer reviewed journal that covers a wide-range of research on fundamental and applied aspects of microbiology.

Brazilian Journal of Veterinary Research and Animal Science is a bimonthly publication of the Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia of the Universidade de São Paulo, that publishes full papers, short communications and review articles concerned with veterinary medicine, zootechny and related fields.The journal has experienced many changes since its conception in 1938 as the "Revista da Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária da USP". The title was adjusted in 1972 to "Revista da Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia da USP", before assuming its present name in 1990. Originally an annual journal, Brazilian Journal of Veterinary Research and Animal Science gradually matured into a biannual, then quartely publication, and now is released twice a month.Its abbreviated title is Braz. J. Vet. Res. Anim. Sci., which should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, and bibliographical references and strips.

The Central European Journal of Operations Research is the official journal of the Österreichische Gesellschaft für Operations Research. Geografisk Tidsskrift - Danish Journal of Geography ( GT-DJG ) is an interdisciplinary, international journal that publishes peer reviewed research articles on all aspects of geography. The IMA Journal of Applied Mathematics is a direct successor of the Journal of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications which was started in 1965 with the aim of publishing papers in all areas of the application of mathematics.
