The scope is broad and ranges from basic human biological and psychological research to evaluations of treatment and services. Papers will normally be concerned with illness or patients rather than studies of healthy populations. The Neuroimaging section of Psychiatry Research publishes manuscripts on positron emission tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, computerized electroencephalographic topography, regional cerebral blood flow, computed tomography, magnetoencephalography, autoradiography, post-mortem regional analyses, and other imaging techniques. Reports concerning results in psychiatric disorders, dementias, and the effects of behaviorial tasks and pharmacological treatments are featured. We also invite manuscripts on the methods of obtaining images and computer processing of the images themselves. Official Journal of the International Association for Psychoanalytic Self Psychology A peer-reviewed quarterly, the International Journal of Psychoanalytic Self Psychology examines self psychology from a myriad of dimensions, including historical, developmental, clinical perspectives, and devotes considerable space to exploring the relationships among psychoanalytic self psychology and other psychoanalytic viewpoints. The International Journal of Psychoanalytic Self Psychology publishes original articles, plenary presentations, commentaries, poetry, book reviews (offering in-depth reviews of recent literature and film related to our field ) and brief communications. The International Journal of Psychoanalytic Self Psychology offers a forum for the interpretation of the essence of self psychology along with its continued reinterpretation and expansion. This includes recognition of the interplay of ideas between self psychology and other contemporary paradigms in the wider psychoanalytic community. The journal is commited to offering a high level of scholarship, theoretical creativity, the illustration of sound clinical practice, and a diversity of ideas.

Psychological Assessment publishes mainly empirical articles concerning clinical assessment. Papers that fall within the domain of the journal include research on the development, validation, application, and evaluation of psychological assessment instruments. Diverse modalities (e.g., cognitive, physiologic, and motoric) and methods of assessment (e.g., questionnaires, interviews, natural environment and analog environment observation, self-monitoring, participant observation, physiological measurement, instrument-assisted and computer-assisted assessment) are within the domain of the journal, especially as they relate to clinical assessment. Also included are topics on clinical judgment and decision making (including diagnostic assessment), methods of measurement of treatment process and outcome, and dimensions of individual differences (e.g., race, ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, economic status) as they relate to clinical assessment. Case studies will be considered if they make unique contributions to clinical assessment. Highly focused reviews of assessment instruments or methods of assessment with particular behavior disorders, theoretical papers related to assessment, and papers bridging basic and applied dimensions of assessment will be considered. Papers on measurement theory and methods will be considered if they are specifically addressed to clinical assessment.

The journal Stress aims to provide scientists involved in basic stress research with the possibility of reading a more integrated view of the field. Founded in 1982, Literature and Medicine is a peer-reviewed journal publishing scholarship that explores representational and cultural practices concerning health care and the body. Areas of interest include disease, illness, health, and disability; violence, trauma, and power relations; and the cultures of biomedical science and technology and of the clinic, as these are represented and interpreted in verbal, visual, and material texts. Literature and Medicine features one thematic and one general issue each year. Past theme issues have explored identity and difference; contagion and infection; cancer pathography; the representations of genomics; and the narration of pain. Literature and Medicine is co-sponsored by the Institute for the Medical Humanities at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and the Program in Medical Humanities and Bioethics at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Canada (JOGC) is Canada's peer-reviewed journal of obstetrics, gynaecology, and women's health. Each monthly issue contains original research articles, reviews, case reports, commentaries, and editorials on all aspects of reproductive health. JOGC is the original publication source of evidence-based clinical guidelines, committee opinions, and policy statements that derive from standing or ad hoc committees of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada.
