Papers in Applied Geography is the official journal of the Applied Geography Conferences. It encourages high quality scholarship on a broad range of topics in the field of Geography, including but not limited to:

Additional topics covered are: geospatial analysis, medical geography, military geography, geomorphology, remote sensing, physical geography, policy and planning, urban geography, and water resources.

Papers in Applied Geography publishes three types of articles. Research articles consist of regular length journal articles that are scholarly contributions to the literature of applied geography. Application articles consist of short papers that discuss the applications of geographical concepts, theories, models or methods to solve practical problems in societies. Technical notes are contributions to present new methods or improvement of existing methods in geography.

The editors invite submissions that emphasize the application of theories or concepts in geography in search of solutions to practical problems our society faces. They also welcome contributions to effective applications of models or analytical methods in geography to the understanding of geographic phenomena and their processes in space and over time.

Peer Review Policy: All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees. All peer review is double blind and submission is online via ScholarOne Manuscripts.

The aim of Pediatric Transplantation is to publish original articles of the highest quality on clinical experience and basic research in transplantation of tissues and solid organs in infants, children and adolescents. The journal seeks to disseminate the latest information widely to all individuals involved in kidney, liver, heart, lung, intestine and stem cell (bone-marrow) transplantation. In addition, the journal publishes focused reviews on topics relevant to pediatric transplantation as well as timely editorial comment on controversial issues. The scope of the journal includes involving clinical research, case-reports delineating universal clinical consequences and basic transplant immunobiology related to pediatric transplantation. Each issue contains Pediatric Transplant Grand Rounds which comprise reports from institutions worldwide aimed at sharing pertinent clinical information with those caring for pediatric transplant recipients. The publication of a journal devoted to transplantation in infants, children and adolescents is extremely important because of the increasing clinical use of tissue and organ transplantation to resolve catastrophic circumstances not amenable to other therapeutic approaches. The journal serves the needs of pediatricians, pediatric surgeons, transplant surgeons, pediatric urologists, pediatric nephrologists, pediatric gastroenterologists, pediatric cardiologists, pediatric pulmonologists and pediatric haematologists/oncologists, all of whom will find great advantage in the timely updated information offered by the journal.

Russian Journal of Communication (RJC) is an international peer-reviewed academic publication devoted to studies of communication in, with, and about Russia and Russian-speaking communities around the world. RJC welcomes both humanistic and social scientific scholarly approaches to communication, which is broadly construed to include mediated information as well as face-to-face interactions. RJC seeks papers and book reviews on topics including philosophy of communication, traditional and new media, film, literature, rhetoric, journalism, information-communication technologies, cultural practices, organizational and group dynamics, interpersonal communication, communication in instructional contexts, advertising, public relations, political campaigns, legal proceedings, environmental and health matters, and communication policy. RJC is open to all methodological perspectives and welcomes theoretical, empirical, critical, comparative, historical, and interdisciplinary studies.

RJC follows a double-blind peer review process to maintain its high standard of scholarship.  All research materials published in RJC have undergone rigorous evaluation, based on initial editor screening and review by at least two anonymous referees. The turn-around review time is up to a maximum of three months. RJC will be published in three online issues per year. A print and bound copy of the volume will also be published annually.

RJC regularly includes a section entitled 'What? When? Where?', which lists up-to-date information about conferences and events of interest to the readers of RJC .

Leukemia Research Reports is a new open access, international journal which will deliver timely information online to all health care professionals involved in basic and/or applied clinical research in leukemias, lymphomas, multiple myeloma and other hematologic malignancies. Clinical and Translational Medicine (CTM) is a peer-review open access journal published under the brand SpringerOpen and aims to play an important and recognized role in reporting knowledge that contributes towards the understanding of molecular mechanisms of disease. CTM also aims to foster a predictive, preventive, personalized and practical approach towards precision medicine, leading to improved patient prognosis. The mission of Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology (CGH) is to provide readers with a broad spectrum of themes in clinical gastroenterology and hepatology, including the diagnostic, endoscopic, interventional, and therapeutic advances in cancer, inflammatory diseases, functional gastrointestinal disorders, nutrition, absorption, and secretion.This peer-reviewed journal includes original articles as well as scholarly reviews, with the goal that all articles published will be immediately relevant to practice of the specialties of gastroenterology and hepatology. Developmental Neurorehabilitation aims to enhance recovery and rehabilitation in children with brain injury and neurological disorders.It focuses on a truly developmental perspective: the longitudinal consequences of neurological insult during childhood and the impact of such injury in later life. It covers childhood neurological disorders and treatment, encompassing factors of lifespan, neurological recovery and intervention at experimental, clinical and theoretical levels.In order to best serve clinicians and researchers, we seek to include an equal representation of basic and clinical research on development, recovery and rehabilitation. Please note that the journal's title from January 2010 onwards will be The International Journal for Numerical Methods in Biomedical Engineering. The new Aims and Scope is effective immediately. International Journal for Numerical Methods in Biomedical Engineering is an international journal which publishes both full length and short refereed papers describing significant developments in numerical methods and their application to biomedical engineering problems. Contributions are encouraged in all areas of biomedical engineering, such as patient-specific modelling, biofluid and biosolid mechanics, tissue engineering, cardiovascular and respiratory mechanics, tumour modelling, medical imaging and image processing, visualisation, meshing, numerical modelling of organs, drug delivery, surgical simulation, micro- and nano- mechanics, multiscale problems, human body electromagnetics, molecular biology, medical device design, health care models and numerical methods specially designed for biomedical problems. Authors are reminded that application of a standard numerical procedure to a standard problem is not within the scope of this journal. Manuscripts that present solutions to realistic and new biomedical problems using standard numerical procedures should provide evidence of mesh convergence.
