Benefits to authors and conference organizers are extra exposure of the conference and reduced costs to the overall conference budget.
Procedia Engineering will publish papers from conferences with an emphasis in core engineering disciplines, such as aerospace, chemical, civil, mechanical or structural engineering. Conferences should be relevant to an international audience, with a focused theme and cover timely topics. The journal is indexed in Scopus, the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature.
For authors publishing in Procedia Engineering, accepted manuscript will be governed by CC BY-NC-ND. For further details see our copyright information.
Conference proceedings are accepted for publication in Procedia Engineering based on suitability of scope and are required to meet certain criteria, including the assurance that all papers are original, will be subject to peer review and will not be published elsewhere. Elsevier will evaluate all proposals on the basis of key information related to the conference provided by the organizers, for example, the conference website, programme, supporting organization and contact details of the committee and keynote speakers. Elsevier may make contact with members of the committee and keynote speakers to obtain further information about the conference during the evaluation process.

Journal of Investigative Dermatology Symposium Proceedings (JIDSP) publishes peer-reviewed, invited papers relevant to all aspects of cutaneous biology and skin disease. These papers have often been initially presented at a scientific meeting. Recent JIDSP issues were generated from scientific meetings devoted to research in specific topic areas, including "Keratinocyte and Melanocyte Cancers of Skin: Interacting Pathways" (53rd Montagna Symposium on the Biology of Skin); "First International Pachyonychia Congenita Symposium"; "Stem Cells in Skin" (52nd Montagna Symposium on the Biology of Skin); and "The Burden of Skin Disease". Potential topics include biochemistry, biophysics, carcinogenesis, cellular growth and regulation, clinical research, development, epidemiology and other population-based research, extracellular matrix, genetics, immunology, melanocyte biology, microbiology, molecular and cell biology, pathology, pharmacology and percutaneous absorption, photobiology, physiology, and skin structure.
Nuclear Physics B focuses on the domain of high energy physics, quantum field theory, and statistical systems, and includes four main sections: high energy physics - phenomenology, high energy physics - theory, high energy physics - experiment, and quantum field theory and statistical systems. The emphasis is on original research papers (Frontiers Articles or Full Length Articles), but Review Articles are also welcome. More information on the different article types can be found in the Guide for Authors.Conference proceedings on the topics covered by Nuclear Physics B are published in the (separately available) journal Nuclear Physics B - Proceedings Supplements. We also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, special discounts on Elsevier publications and much more. The Proceedings of the ACM on Human Computer Interaction (HCI) is a journal series for research relevant to multiple aspects of the intersection between human factors and computing systems. Characteristics of humans from individual cognition, to group effects, to societal impacts shape and are shaped by computing systems. Human and computer interactions affect multiple aspects of daily life, shape mass social changes, and guide novel computing experiences. These interactions are studied via multiple methods, including ethnography, surveys, experiments, and system implementation among others. PACMHCI covers a broad range of topics and methods that help illuminate the intersection between humans and computing systems. The scope of this journal includes research contributions in new systems for input and output, studies of user experiences with computing systems, scholarship on the individual and group effects of computer mediation, and societal impacts of new human computer interactions. PACMHCI also welcomes contributions on new methodologies, tools, theories and models, as well as visionary and survey papers that help advance the field.
The Journal of Process Mechanical Engineering publishes high-quality papers covering a broad area of mechanical engineering activities associated with the design and operation of process equipment."The process industries are fundamental to providing society with its basic needs in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner. Be it refined oil products, foods, personal products, or powders - all are produced in vast quantities using specialised equipment. It is this equipment, its design, operation, and maintenance, that sits with the scope of the Journal of Process Mechanical Engineering, Part E of the Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. We welcome papers from any source covering a broad area of mechanical engineering activities associated with the design and operation of process equipment, and I can confirm that at all stages in the consideration of your paper we will endeavour to act as speedily as possible whilst maintaining academic rigour.".
The International Journal of Driving Science, Driver-Vehicle Systems in Advanced Environments (IJDS) focuses on the interface between intelligent and connected mobility and driver behavior and performance, aiming at efficient, safe, and clean transport of people and goods.
Published research is practice oriented and motivated by real-life problem areas, often requiring a multidisciplinary approach, combining a system-based modeling approach with experimental evidence. The target group of the journal covers researchers and engineers from different disciplines, involved in driver-vehicle systems in advanced environments with emphasis on the active position of the human as part of (closed loop) mobility processes and strategies.
Research fields include vehicle engineering; system and control engineering; electronics, information and communication technology; behavioral sciences and human factors; traffic management and control.
The Journal of Open Research Software (JORS) features peer reviewed Software Metapapers describing research software with high reuse potential. We are working with a number of specialist and institutional repositories to ensure that the associated software is professionally archived, preserved, and is openly available. Equally importantly, the software and the papers will be citable, and reuse will be tracked.
JORS also publishes full-length research papers that cover different aspects of creating, maintaining and evaluating open source research software. The aim of the section is to promote the dissemination of best practice and experience related to the development and maintenance of reusable, sustainable research software.

Tremor and Other Hyperkinetic Movements (TOHM) [ISSN: 2160-8288], a fully open access peer-reviewed journal, publishes clinical and scientific papers on tremor and hyperkinetic movements. TOHM is indexed in PubMed and PubMed Central. In contrast to other publications focusing on disorders of hypokinesia (i.e., mainly Parkinson’s disease), TOHM emphasizes the non-Parkinsonian movement disorders, giving center stage to clinical observations and research in this area.
A short turnaround time from submission to publication of 4.5 weeks is possible, but is dependent upon the speed with which an author revises their manuscript. The average turnaround time from submission to first decision is 22 days (~3 weeks). The average turnaround time from acceptance to publication is 21 days (3 weeks).
