Experimental Dermatology provides a vehicle for the rapid publication of innovative and definitive reports, letters to the editor and review articles covering all aspects of experimental dermatology. Preference is given to papers of immediate importance to other investigators, either by virtue of their new methodology, experimental data or new ideas. The essential criteria for publication are clarity, experimental soundness and novelty. Letters to the editor related to published reports may also be accepted, provided that they are short and scientifically relevant to the reports mentioned, in order to provide a continuing forum for discussion. Review articles represent a state-of-the-art overview and are invited by the editors. Colour illustrations will be accepted free of charge.

Experimental Economics, the official journal of the Economic Science Association, serves the growing group of economists around the world who use laboratory methods to study phenomena that are difficult to observe directly in naturally occurring economic contexts. The journal publishes high quality papers in any area of experimental research in economics and in related fields such as accounting, finance, political science, and the psychology of decision-making. Readers will also find state-of-the-art theoretical work and econometric work motivated by experimental data. Lastly, the journal publishes articles with a primary focus on methodology or replication of controversial findings. Experimental Economics provides a forum for interactive discussions of major issues by inviting papers and comments on broad topics. The primary goal of Experimental Eye Research is to publish original research papers on all aspects of experimental biology of the eye and ocular tissues that seek to define the mechanisms of normal function and/or disease. Studies of ocular tissues that encompass the disciplines of cell biology, developmental biology, genetics, molecular biology, physiology, biochemistry, biophysics, immunology or microbiology are most welcomed. Manuscripts that are purely clinical or in a surgical area of ophthalmology are not appropriate for submission to Experimental Eye Research and if received will be returned without review.Most manuscripts published are original articles describing new research findings. For review purposes the journal is divided into four sections: Aqueous Humor and Blood Flow; Cornea and Ocular Surface; Lens; and Retina and Choroid, each with their own section editors and a roster of Executive Editors that have expertise in these specialized areas.The Journal also publishes review articles, short communications, letters-to-the-editor, and methods papers. Experimental Gerontology is a multidisciplinary journal for the publication of work from all areas of biogerontology, with an emphasis on studies focused at the systems level of investigation, such as whole organisms (e.g. invertebrate genetic models), immune, endocrine and cellular systems, as well as whole population studies (e.g. epidemiology). Experimental Heat Transfer provides a forum for experimentally based high quality research articles and communications in the general area of heat-mass transfer and the related fluid dynamics. In addition to the established multifaceted areas of thermal energy conversion and transport that are intimately connected to heat transfer related research, the journal also communicates contributions from new and emerging areas of research such as micro- and nanoscale science and technology, life sciences and biomedical engineering, manufacturing processes, materials science, and engineering. In all of these areas heat transfer plays an important role, in particular, in the form of innovative experiments and systems for direct measurements and analysis, as well as to verify or complement theoretical models. Scope and subject areas Experimental Physiology publishes Research Papers which report the results of original research in most areas of physiology (follow link below for table). These are normally limited to 6,000 words including legends and references Papers should embrace the journal's orientation of translation and integration. Specifically, we are keen to receive manuscripts that deal with both physiological and pathophysiological questions that investigate gene/protein function using molecular, cellular and whole animal approaches. In addition pertinent methodological papers are encouraged as are manuscripts that use computational models to further our understanding of physiological processes.
