International Journal of Geophysics is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles as well as review articles in all areas of geophysics.
The rapidly increasing world population of aged people has led to a growing need to focus attention on the problems of mental disorder in late life. The aim of the Journal is to communicate the results of original research in the causes, treatment and care of all forms of mental disorder which affect the elderly. The Journal is of interest to psychiatrists, psychologists, social scientists, nurses and others engaged in therapeutic professions, together with general neurobiological researchers. The Journal provides an international perspective on the important issue of geriatric psychiatry, and contributions are published from countries throughout the world. Topics covered include epidemiology of mental disorders in old age, clinical aetiological research, post-mortem pathological and neurochemical studies, treatment trials and evaluation of geriatric psychiatry services. 2009 Impact Factor: 1.981 ((C) Thomson Reuters Journal Citation Reports 2010).
The International Journal of Gerontology is the official peer-reviewed journal of the Taiwan Society of Geriatric Emergency and Critical Care Medicine. The journal is published quarterly in March, June, September and December, and is indexed/ abstracted in SCOPUS, EMBASE, CAB Abstracts, Global Health, Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), ScienceDirect and SIIC Data Bases. The journal has received an impact factor of 0.556 in the Journal Citation Report 2009.The International Journal of Gerontology is the journal with intention to explore and clarify the medical science and philosophy in geriatric fields, especially those in the emergency and critical care medicine. The scientific information published here is grounded on clinical cases, statistic evidence of original studies, and accumulation of medical knowledge, humanistic ethics and basic researches.Topics in the International Journal of Gerontology (IJGE) cover the advancement of diagnosis and management in urgent, serious and chronic intractable diseases in later life, preventive medicine, long-term care of disability, ethical issues in the diseased elderly and biochemistry, cell biology, endocrinology, molecular biology, pharmacology, physiology and protein chemistry involving diseases associated with age. We did not limit the territory to only critical or emergency condition inasmuch as chronic diseases are frequently brought about by inappropriate management of acute problems. We are also interested in studies bridging the gap between basic and clinical aspects of geriatric diseases In addition to original articles, book reviews, short communications and letters to the editor are also welcome.
IJGEI provides an international forum and authoritative source of information on renewable and non-renewable energy resources, energy-economic systems, energy and environment, international energy policy issues, technological innovation and new energy sources. It envisages the use of analytical tools and concepts from multifarious disciplines to address concerns for ecological, social, economic and political dimensions of sustainability. IJGEI seeks to establish an effective channel for communication between policymakers, government agencies, concerned citizens, consumer bodies, industry, public authorities and members of academic/research institutions.
IJGEnvI is a refereed reference with focus on: human environment, bio-diversity, global warming and climate change, international conflict and co-operation on climate change issues, control, regulations and policy, complex EEE models for global policy analysis, uncertainty and scenario analysis of global environmental change issues, conceptualizing, modeling and applying concepts of spatial and regional sustainability and trade, future visions and scenarios.
IJGW aims to bring all disciplines together for local/global solutions to combat global warming and its consequences. It focuses around nine main pillars: better remediation, avoidance, efficiency, cost effectiveness, design, resource utilisation, environmental quality, energy security, and sustainable development. It also address issues related to global changes as a direct/indirect result of climate modification and strategies for adaptation to such changes. IJGW covers disciplines as diverse as engineering, climate science, ecology, economics, education, management, information sciences, politics, strategy development, etc.
The International Journal of Green Energy focuses on the forms and utilizations of energy that have no, minimal, or reduced impact on environment and society. Emphasis is placed on energy diversity, energy localization, energy security, and sustainable development. The International Journal of Green Energy provides a multidisciplinary and international forum for the rapid dissemination of the latest high-quality research results in the fields of energy research, management, and conservation, especially the advanced environmentally friendly energy technologies. It provides a medium for the free exchange and discussion of ideas and information, and a record of knowledge generated and technology know-how. The journal publishes a wide range of original, peer-reviewed, qualified research papers and critical reviews of recent research that deal with the analytical, numerical, and experimental investigations of all aspects of energy and energy technologies, ranging from fundamentals to practical applications, from energy resources to energy consumption and the consequences of energy use. Publication office: Taylor & Francis, Inc., 325 Chestnut Street, Suite 800, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
The International Journal of Green Nanotechnology is a unique open access journal addressing important challenges and latest advances in the chemistry, physics, biology, engineering, and other scientific aspects of green nanotechnology as well as on their societal impact and the policies that have been or should be developed to address them. It has three primary foci: biomedicine, materials science and engineering, and physics and chemistry. This journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
