Irish Educational Studies

ISSN: 0332-3315eISSN: 1747-4965

Irish Educational Studies is an international, refereed journal. It is the official journal of the Educational Studies Association of Ireland (ESAI) and is listed in the Social Science Citation Index™. The journal is open to papers on a range of topics relevant to education, drawing on the full spectrum of disciplines that feed into educational theory and practice, including anthropology, sociology, psychology, history, economics, philosophy, politics and curriculum studies. We welcome papers that draw on a range of research methodologies. The journal is especially open to papers that have a critical edge, making links between the local and global and influences on practice across all sectors of education - from early childhood education, primary and post-primary schooling, through to Higher Education. Peer Review Policy: All research articles in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymized refereeing by at least two anonymous referees. Irish Geography

ISSN: 0075-0778eISSN: 1939-4055

View a list of the latest free articles available from Irish Geography Irish Geography is the premier peer-reviewed journal devoted to the geography of Ireland. It has an international distribution and is read on six continents. Its reputation for quality is long established and standards are maintained by an internationally based editorial advisory board. Irish Geography has been published by the Geographical Society of Ireland since 1944. An early editorial decision was to concentrate on the geography of Ireland and this has been maintained ever since. This focus has been a source of strength to the journal and has been important in enhancing its international reputation. More recently, to reflect the changing context and increased importance of globalization and migration to Ireland, a decision was made to also allow material on the Irish diaspora and overseas networks to be included in the journal. Irish Journal of Medical Science

ISSN: 0021-1265eISSN: 1863-4362

The Irish Journal of Medical Science is the official organ of the Royal Academy of Medicine in Ireland. Established in 1832, this quarterly journal is a contribution to medical science and an ideal forum for the younger medical/scientific professional to enter world literature and an ideal launching platform now, as in the past, for many a young research worker.

The primary role of both the Academy and IJMS is that of providing a forum for the exchange of scientific information and to promote academic discussion, so essential to scientific progress.

The journal covers all branches of medicine and publishes papers applicable to the daily practice of the clinician and surgeon. Articles are written by international specialists in their respective fields, and their applicability is not limited to daily practice in Ireland.
