Journal Guide

Journal of Radiation Oncology is an international interdisciplinary journal that publishes original research, clinical investigations, review articles, editorial comments, and other scientific articles relating to radiation oncology.  It aims to be a forum for collaboration and knowledge exchange in the management of cancer using radiation therapy.  The scope of Journal of Radiation Oncology includes: clinical research into any form of radiotherapy including but not limited to external beam irradiation, brachytherapy, particle radiation therapy, intraoperative radiation therapy and stereotactic radiosurgery/radiotherapy, as well as experimental work in radiobiology, tumor biology, radiation physics, dosimetry, and radiation treatment planning.  Research or review papers of high quality that provide new knowledge on patient care and technological developments are particularly welcomed. Papers on topics associated with radiation oncology, including palliative treatment, quality-of-life issues, chemotherapy, and surgery, are also published.  Readership: Journal of Radiation Oncology is of interest to radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, medical dosimetrists, radiation physicists, radiation biologists, radiation therapists, oncology nurses, palliative care specialists, and radiologists, as well as others interested in the management of cancer.

Journal of Radiation Research and Applied Sciences provides a high quality medium for the publication of substantial, original and scientific and technological papers on the development and applications of nuclear, radiation and isotopes in biology, medicine, drugs, biochemistry, microbiology, agriculture, entomology, food technology, chemistry, physics, solid states, engineering, environmental and applied sciences.
Papers dealing with radiation processing, or the biological, chemical or physical effects of radiation are appropriate for publication in Journal of Radiation Research and Applied Sciences.

Relevant topics for Journal of Radiation Research and Applied Sciences include also, measurement of radiation and radioactivity, nuclear and radiation regulation and safety. However, authors are encouraged to suggest other topics which might also be published in the journal.

Journal of Radical Librarianship (ISSN 2399-956X) is an open access journal publishing high quality, rigorously reviewed and innovative scholarly work in the field of radical librarianship. It also publishes non-peer reviewed reports, commentary, and reviews. The scope of the journal is any work that contributes to a discourse around critical library and information theory and practice. The special collection 'Race and Power in Library and Information Studies' consists of five research articles published in 2019 that were edited by Gina Schlesselman-Tarango and David James Hudson.

The Journal of Radio & Audio Media is a semiannual publication designed to promote scholarly dialogues generated by various disciplinary and methodological points of view. The Journal welcomes interdisciplinary inquiries regarding radio's contemporary and historical subject matter as well as those audio media that have challenged radio's traditional use. Scholars are invited to submit articles pertaining to any area of radio and audio media. The Journal of Radioanalytical and Nuclear Chemistry (JRNC) publishes original papers, letters, review papers and short communications on nuclear chemistry. Coverage embraces a wide range of topics, including nuclear chemistry, radiochemistry, radiation chemistry, radiobiological chemistry, environmental radiochemistry, production and control of radioisotopes and labeled compounds, nuclear power plant chemistry, nuclear fuel chemistry, radioanalytical chemistry, radiation detection and measurement, nuclear instrumentation and automation, and more.

Journal of Radiological Protection publishes articles (in English) on all aspects of radiological protection, including non-ionising as well as ionising radiations. Fields of interest range from research, development and theory to operational matters, education and training. The very wide spectrum of its topics includes: dosimetry, instrument development, specialized measuring techniques, epidemiology, biological effects (in vivo and in vitro) and risk and environmental impact assessments.

The Journal of Radiology Nursing promotes the highest quality patient care in the diagnostic and therapeutic imaging environments. The content is intended to show radiology nurses how to practice with compassion, competence, and commitment, not only to patients but also to the profession of nursing as a whole.
