The Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology (or JVP) was founded in 1980 at the University of Oklahoma by Dr. Jiri Zidek, with financial support from the University of Oklahoma Presidential Associates Fund; it was continued in 1984 by the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology. JVP is issued four times per year and publishes original contributions on all aspects of vertebrate paleontology, including vertebrate origins, evolution, functional morphology, taxonomy, biostratigraphy, paleoecology, paleobiogeography, and paleoanthropology.

The Journal of Vestibular Research is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes experimental and observational studies, review papers, and theoretical papers based on current knowledge of the vestibular system. Subject of the studie scan include experimental animals, normal humans, and humans with vestibular or other related disorders. Study topics can include the following: * Neurophysiology of balance, including the vestibular, ocular motor, autonomic, and postural control systems * Anatomy of vestibular, vestibulo-ocular, vestibulo-spinal, and vestibulo-autonomic pathways * Vestibular-related human performance in various environments * Psychophysics of spatial orientation * Space and motion sickness * Balance disorders * Vestibular rehabilitation.

Journal of Veterinary Behavior: Clinical Applications and Research is an international journal that focuses on all aspects of veterinary behavioral medicine, with a particular emphasis on clinical applications and research. The Journal of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care's primary aim is to advance the international clinical standard of care for emergency/critical care patients of all species. The Journal of Veterinary Internal Medicine provides an international forum for communication and discussion of the latest developments in large and small animal internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, and oncology.

The Journal of Veterinary Medical Education (JVME) is the peer-reviewed scholarly journal of the Association of American Veterinary Medical Colleges (AAVMC). As an internationally distributed journal, JVME provides a forum for the exchange of ideas, research, and discoveries about veterinary medical education. This exchange benefits veterinary faculty, students, and the veterinary profession as a whole by preparing veterinarians to better perform their professional activities and to meet the needs of society. The journal’s areas of focus include: best practices and educational methods in veterinary education; recruitment, training, and mentoring of students at all levels of education, including undergraduate, graduate, veterinary technology, and continuing education; clinical instruction and assessment; institutional policy; and other challenges and issues faced by veterinary educators domestically and internationally.
