Applicable Algebra in Engineering, Communication and Computing publishes mathematically rigorous, original research papers reporting on algebraic methods and techniques relevant to all domains concerned with computers, intelligent systems and communications. Coverage includes vision, robotics, system design, fault tolerance and dependability of systems, VLSI technology, signal processing, signal theory, coding, error control techniques, cryptography, protocol specification, networks, software engineering, arithmetics, algorithms, complexity, computer algebra, programming languages, logic and functional programming, algebraic specification, term rewriting systems, theorem proving, graphics, modeling, knowledge engineering, expert systems, and artificial intelligence methodology. The journal offers papers dealing with problems in commutative or non-commutative algebra, group theory, field theory, or real algebraic geometry, among others.

Applicable Analysis is concerned primarily with analysis that has application to scientific and engineering problems. Papers should indicate clearly an application of the mathematics involved. On the other hand, papers that are primarily concerned with modeling rather than analysis are outside the scope of the journal. General areas of analysis that are welcomed contain the areas of differential and integral equations, nonlinear analysis, applied functional analysis, theoretical numerical analysis and approximation theory. Applications in Plant Sciences (APPS) is a monthly, peer-reviewed, open access journal promoting the rapid dissemination of newly developed, innovative tools and protocols in all areas of the plant sciences, including genetics, structure, function, development, evolution, systematics, and ecology. Given the rapid progress today in technology and its application in the plant sciences, the goal of APPS is to foster communication within the plant science community to advance scientific research. APPS is a publication of the Botanical Society of America, originating in 2009 as the American Journal of Botany's online-only section, AJB Primer Notes & Protocols in the Plant Sciences.
